AotR is a complete overhaul mod for Forces of Corruption. Inspired by the old RTS, Star Wars: Rebellion, AotR adds many features from this game and other titles, including a more in-depth mission system, tech system, and many new units! We are proud to present improved tactical combat in space, ground and galactic combat, and have also substantially improved upon the graphics of the base game. Immerse yourself in the Galactic Civil War era as the fledgling Rebellion, the oppressive Empire, or the opportunistic Black Sun pirates. This mod is not for the faint of heart and will test your RTS skills with a completely overhauled AI and set of difficulty levels.

AI does get credit / economy cheats, especially at higher difficulties. Black Sun do need palaces to build their corruption spreaders though, so taking out worlds with palaces should be enough to stop them. You're also very welcome to make a submod that removes the corruption mechanic.

Like I like the Black Sun a lot, and what they bring to the campaign as an AI faction, except for just the one thing, Corruption.

It's annoying, how because of Corruption, I invariably end up making every single campaign with the Black Sun involved, about wiping them from the map entirely as fast as possible, with every single bit of my focus, because I mentioned below, it doesn't matter how little territory or funds they should have left, they can just spam Corruption everywhere endlessly.

I just feel like it could be better, and the solution of just playing without the Black Sun, kind of lame.

The thing that bugs me most, is that regardless of how little territory the Black Sun have left, they just magically get endless amounts of credits to spend on doing these corruption missions all over the galaxy.

I've already whittled them down to basically just Mandalore and two surrounding planets, and the Tatooine/Genosis cluster, and they still can just endlessly, endlessly spam these missions, with credits seemingly mattering nothing to them.

Thats the annoying part, is that it seems like the cheat a whole lot in order to spam these mission out.

@TakeTwo, we have not touched skirmish AI, or skirmish in general, we don't support it.
@Shimmer, no, but it will be in our Clone Wars mod, which I'm hoping we'll release by Christmas.
@Blackfox, they should shoot at whatever you tell them to.
@Astraeos, we're pretty happy with corruption as is. Using agents to remove corruption is a fair bit cheaper than using heroes so i'd recommend that. We won't remove the mechanic, but you can play on GCs without the Black Sun if you hate it so much.

I think Corruption might need re-looking at.

I'm not very far at all into a Rebel campaign, and I've already had to spend between 20-30k on rooting out corruption from the Black Sun.

Like, it's been a shockingly large portion of my early game money earned spent on this so far.

Not to mention, it is incredibly annoying being almost endlessly spammed by the Black Sun with this.

I've hated that stupid corruption sound for over 20 years now, I wish you guys would just remove that mechanic from the mod entirely.
