Realism Mod (reconfigured Hardcore Mod, SnakeBite required)

I decided the game wasn't challenging enough, so made everything as hard as it could be without breaking the game. Here's how to get it.

Changes to base game data
I forgot to include this when I first published the guide because it was late but here are the main changes I've made:

  • Snake has 10.25% of vanilla health
  • Guards have 30.75% of vanilla health (I increased that today after being added and messaged that guards die too easy)
  • Guards bleed out in 30s instead of 60s after being wounded
  • Guards have 250% increase to sight and sound
  • Skip the intros and avoid connecting online when the game starts

Apologies for A) uploading the wrong file the first time, and B) getting the values too low for you veterans. All should be fixed and even more against you, now. If you're finding it too difficult, though, don't complain to me.
Installation
Download SnakeBite[t.co] and install the mod file. If you aren't sure of how to do this, you just run the executible and SnakeBite will do the work for you (creating a backup, checking things are okay with Steam's game files, etc). Once it's installed, simply click "Mods" and then "Install .MGSV Files", the top option at the lower left of the popup. This will open the file explorer. Navigate to where you saved the TUPPM file and double click to open it up. Another new window should pop up, just go ahead and click "Continue Installation" at the lower right. Now the mod is installed and we need to insert the config file.
Inserting config file
Very simple. Download the file here[t.co] or from the link above and navigate to "V:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\MGS_TPP", then drag the file in. That's it. You are completely done. I'm not sure if it's necessary, but for good measures you might want to launch the game through SnakeBite with the mod activated at least once, but after that it will automatically start to launch with the settings you have saved in the config file on startup.
Thank You
First of all a big thank you to NasaNhak for making the groundwork lua file that I could play with and create my ultimate experience on. And thank you for reading my guide, and hopefully installing my config. If you enjoy what you play, I'd appreciate a thumbs up and favorite. I can't imagine you getting banned online (unless you make changes yourself to the online settings, which I haven't) but if you do, it isn't my fault. You shouldn't have mods installed when playing online. But I've been playing fine, so it's very unlikely to happen. One thing I want to address before I get any dumb comments about it like my other guide; this time I used Twitter to post links since goo.gl is no longer in service and Valve doesn't allow Bit.ly. Please don't comment that I'm some evil hacker overlord. Thank you. Have fun getting 1 shot in later levels!

Намного раньше или нет, не имеет значение. Ситуация забавная. I don't speak eng. Sry

You mean the OC of the TUPPM mod? Because I literally did

You can indicate the source :)

if there isn't an option to toggle elements on or off, then i suppose you could try. CTRL+F "hud" just to make sure there isn't any mention of HUD toggling.

just remove the hud section and done with it?

This was a while ago; i'll install MGSV and let you know what i come up with :)

(to save you time, you might want to look at the mod configuration file in notepad and look for the HUD settings, which i'm pretty sure are listed in their own section - OC was very neat with his mod)
