Have to agree! Tried to use these as well, but the lack of texture on parts of the steps didn't work for me. But a great idea nevertheless... :)

Sadly it doesn't work very well for me:
- missing textures on some parts, making it bright white;
- ground connection between stairs path and regular path leaves a gap;
- can't handle t-crossings.

Unforntunate, because I loved the idea of those stairs.
