"I Am Legend" - The Ultimate Realistic Apocalypse Solo Mutation

Description
This is the solo version of my mod ''The Ultimate Realistic Apocalypse Mod'' (This mutation is also included in The Ultimate Realistic Apocalypse Mod. If you have it, you don't need this mod).
This mod changes the entire feel of L4D2. It is meant to take away the arcade-ish feel of the game and feature a much more realistic, REAL APOCALYPSE feeling.

THIS IS A MUTATION. TO PLAY THIS MOD: open your console and type ''map <mapname> legend'' (without the quotation marks)
<mapname> is whatever map you want to play. For example if you want to play the Dead Center campaign with this mutation, open your console and type: map c1m1_hotel

As for the names of custom campaigns, you'll have to find them out for yourself.

Differences between the ''I Am Legend'' and ''Ultimate Realistic Apocalypse'' mods:
-this is a mutation and has to be activated through the console
-in this mod you spawn with a pistol, a baseball bat, and pain pills
-there are no special infected
-the zombies move slower, and less zombies spawn in the world (however the hordes are still huge!)

In this mod:
-changes to the stats of all weapons (damage, accuracy, recoil, range, clip size) to a realistic value
-realistic max reserve ammo values including limited pistol ammo!
-no HUD for a better and realistic view
-zombies deal more damage, but there is a believable amount of zombies
-no SI
-several changes in health types
-several aspects from the 'realism' game mode
-M60, grenade launcher, chainsaw and ammo upgrades no longer replace your weapons or medkit!
This mod makes the game much more challenging but once you get the hang of it it will be much more AWESOME!

IMPORTANT:
-you can still see your HEALTH and ITEMS if you press TAB.
-this mode can be played on any diffuculty, but for the best challenge, try single player Expert!
-if you do not like the HUD removed, install a custom HUD mod. It will probably override.
-the crosshair can be disabled/enabled by accessing the console with ~ and typing ''crosshair 0'' or ''crosshair 1''. (no cheats required)
-the weapons are not ''overpowered'', they do REALISTIC damage. The lack of ammunition will balance out the high power of your guns.
-this mod does not make the game realistic as in REAL, but as in BELIEVABLE and as close the real life as well as possible. There are no zombies, so the game could never become real-life-realistic.

To increase your realistic experience even more:
-set your brightness and sensitivity as low as possible
-set your graphics to the highest settings or as high as your pc can handle it
-use the mods that are in "The Ultimate Realistic Apocalypse Collection"
-play on expert and play carefully

And here are some tips to help you survive the apocalypse:
-move fast. Surviving is more important than killing every single zombie
-do not open any doors unless you are low on supplies
-always close doors behind you
-don't get cornered
-in case of tank: RUN AND SHOOT. You cannot go down once!
-aim for the head and enjoy the apocalypse


know bugs or flaws:
-on very rare occasions, some of the disabled SI may still spawn. This may be because it was programmed into the game like that, or it is a bug that appears very rarely. This also occurs in SOME custom campaigns.
-this mod may conflict with other mods that use scripts. For example, if you have a custom weapon installed that has effect on the weapon's stats, it may conflict, but this is nothing to worry about.
-this mod is not fully though is partially compatible with the "Improved Bots" mod.


Below is a list of the changes made to guns.

I have tried to set the clip sizes of all guns as realistic as possible by doing research on the internet. All weapons should now have a clip that holds as many bullets as it would in real life.

-all damage, range and accuracy has been changed to a realistic value
-all shotguns now have a realistic, tighter bukcshot spread
-assault rifles have more realistic recoil
-the pump shotgun and chrome shotgun now share the same stats, designed after the Remington Model 870:
~the shotgun holds 8 rounds and shoots 12 pellets per shot
-the ''autoshotgun/tactical shotgun'' (Benelli M4 Super 90 aka M1014):
~holds 8 rounds and shoots 11 pellets (but has less accuracy than the SPAS, making it more effective against hordes and less effective at long range)
-the ''combat shotgun'' (Franchi SPAS-12):
~holds 9 rounds and shoots 9 pellets
-the pump shotguns now have more power than the auto shotguns, since they have more pellets!

-the silenced SMG holds 30 rounds, assuming it is a .45 ACP silenced Ingram MAC-10
-the SMG holds 32 rounds, assuming it is a .9mm IMI UZI
-the silenced smg has more power than the smg, but has less range and a slightly lower rate of fire

-The M16 Assault Rifle, Combat Rifle (SCAR-L) and the AK-47 hold 30 rounds. The hunting rifle holds 5
-the M16, Scar-L and hunting rifle (Ruger Mini-14) do the same damage since they hold 5.56×45mm NATO cartridges
-the AK-47 does about 20% more damage than these
-the military sniper rifle (Heckler & Koch MSG90A1 sniper rifle) holds 20 rounds and deals more damage than the hunting rifle

-pistols are primary weapons and have limited ammo
-the Magnum Pistol (IMI Desert Eagle) holds 8 x.40 Magnum
-the normal pistol still holds 15 bullets, assuming it is a SIG Sauer P226 and not a P220

-the M60 holds 100 bullets and the Grenade Launcher ammo is left unchanged
-the M60 now gives slower movement speed, but deals the highest bullet damage together with the sniper rifle

-the ''Heavy Machine Gun'' is a Browning .50 Caliber that deals massive damage against anything
-the Grenade Launcher deals massive damage and can kill even a tank with one shot, but has only 2 extra grenades

Max reserve ammo:
pistol= 60 (15 or 30+ 4 extra mags)
magnum= 32 (8+ 4 extra mags)
autoshotguns = 32 (8 or 9+ 32 extra shells)
shotguns = 32 (8+ 32 extra shells)
smgs = 120 (30 or 32+ 4 extra mags)
assaultrifles = 90 (30+ 3 extra mags)
sniperrifle = 60 (20+ 3 extra mags)
huntingrifle = 30 (10+ 3 extra mags)
grenadelauncher = 2 (1+ 2 extra grenades)
M60 = 100 bullets (no reserve)

Full list of exact changes:
several aspects from the 'realism' game mode, such as:
-no glow around survivors or objects
-witch kills instantly
several changes in health types:
-the ''fallen survivor'' zombie no longer has huge health
-witches and tanks have much less health to make them more believable
misc changes:
-the M60, grenade launcher, chainsaw and ammo upgrades are now ''carrying weapons'' (like gas cans, propane tanks, etc) you can pick them up and use them and they won't replace your weapon or first aid kit!
-more ''shake screen'' effects when pounced or attacked
-no defibrillators, less throwables and adrenaline shots
-doors are no longer easily destroyed by zombies or weapons, but will blow out when hit by explosives
-increased grenade launcher blast radius
-ammo packs do not disappear after using them

Slot 1: shotguns, smgs, pistols and the hunting rifle
Slot 2: military weapons (assault rifles and the military sniper) THESE CAN NOT BE REFILLED AT AMMO PILES! (realism)
Slot 3: melee weapons
Slot 4: medkits
Slot 5: pain pills, adrenaline and throwables
Slot 6 (weapons that can not be stored in the inventory, but instead must be held): M60, Grenade Launcher, Ammo Upgrades, and the default (gascans, oxygen tanks etc)

Nice mutations but there are somethings like you can't take pills and pipe bombs or molotovs at the same time but the mutation is good

I've been enjoying this a ton. I really like the interesting take on weapon slots, and the added difficulty is super interesting. Not gonna lie, though, I definitely had to get started on Easy, before learning how to play this mutator. I'm too used to Last Man On Earth. Cheers!

I want to love this mod, but I can't. Hordes spawn far too frequently and in far too great numbers, You can't choose which survivor you want to play, Melee weapons are objectively superior to all other weapons, Tanks spawn frequently regardless of special status, Not being able to see your ammo always gets you intro trouble when it runs out, pistols are useless because of primary weapon status. AND it conflicts with a million mods... but other than that it's pretty alright, hope it gets fixed someday.
