The Theolentist (THEE-ALL-IN-TIST)
In an era where science and religion often overlap, the Theolentist branches both disciplines. Calling upon both faith and intellect--and when those fail, brute strength--the Theolentist harnesses powers that are somehow both unexplainable and infinitely explainable at the same time.

The Theolentist class is now available for play on Steam. This is a beta test version of the class with some balance and design issues still being worked out. As of this release, a version of 29 of 30 core spells along with several bonus spells are included.



Skill Trees
Physics: You use the powers of kinetics, inertia, and quantum mechanics to bless yourself with unreal movement speeds and the ability to siphon strength from enemies. This tree has a strong focus on melee attacks, especially with two-handed weapons.
Astronomy: The heavens and planets behave your whims. The tree focuses on ranged abilities, including many control powers that cause knockback or fear to keep enemies away from you.
Biology: Your benedictions manifest as biological wonders. You can summon amoebas to your aid, fling quills, summon swarms of insects, and perform other great feats.


Charge Bar Power
When the Theolentist's charge bar is charged there is chance on being hit that Divine Intervention occurs, changing the course of fate. Divine Intervention can proc one of four possible effects:
- Heal you completely
- Cause missiles to deflect at 200% dps for 7 seconds
- Grant a temporary absorption shield

In addition, one of your passive skills can grant additional Dodge bonus every time Divine Intervention fires. Divine Intervention has an internal cooldown of 15 seconds.


Favors
Favors are special powers that grant especially large bonuses. Only one can be active at a time One favor power appears in each spell tree.
- Astronomy - Sequester: Creates an aura that knocks enemies backwards and provides bonus Resistance as long as no enemies stand within the spell's field.
- Physics - Electron Veil: Creates an aura around the caster that stuns enemies that get too close and grants resistance for each enemy within range
- Biology - Apex Apostle: Summons a permanent, indestructible ally.


Dispell Auras
This speciality skill allows you to dispell the effects of your auras, along with a few other skills that otherwise have permanent or very long durations.


Recommended Gear
While the Theolentist can use a variety of weapons, the most popular choices for a ranged Theolentist are bows, crossbows, and shotguns, or a wand in one hand, pistol in the other. Those looking to get up close and personal may prefer a staff or spear.
