Disable Obsoletion

Description
This mod removes automatic obsoletion from the game. Whether you start the game at a later era, or just advance there on your own, you can always build older units and wonders. This can lead to some interesting possibilities, such as deliberately building an "obsolete" UU with built-in promotions, then upgrading it to a more modern unit and keeping that extra promotion, or starting a game in the Industrial Era but constructing the Pyramids.

Super special thanks to framedarchitecture, who basically held my hand through this process. :3

they think that the old units are the best because it is easier to build

Could you make this compatible with the Enlightenment Era mod and enhanced scout mod? I have lost so many opportunities because the frigate or scout went obsolete dispite this mod.

does it work with custom units and custom buildings and custom civs ? does it work with bnw ?

Same here, they "seem" know to train their most modern units, but it would be great (maybe kind of scary) if they trained their UU if they have enough gold to modernize them. Would probably be a good alternate mod for raising difficulty, or alot of custom civs have scaling strength units this would (minorly) balence the ingame civs with them.

Giga: Hmm, good question. I haven't really observed AI behavior enough to know for sure. Last time I played, I recall it seems like they fielded modernized units whenever possible, but I didn't inspect them to see if they had the inherited traits of the older unique units.

Does this mod mess with the computers? like do they know to always build the non-obsolete(building longswords even though it has muskets) units? Or well they try to build their UU that upgrade it? It's ok if not just worried it well drive the computers insane having old units avaible

Rand: I wouldn't know 100% without checking, but I would think so, because IIRC, I changed the universal obsoletion line, instead of the line for each and every individual unit and building?
