IH stands for invisible hands.
Do you have a character mod installed that changes the hands of your character?
Let's say, a cartoon, anime, minecraft, costume, or videogame mod.
Do you also want to use one of my seasonal particle mods?
Would you prefer seeing no hands at all to seeing the hands of the original l4d characters?
Then this is for you :)

You'll still need to install this BEFORE your character mods if you want it to show up.

Same as Black fog, but no hands. Meant for those who are using custom hand models.

lolol yeaaaaah, but I think it achieves the classic survival horror feel though.
And yeah, sir bombegranate tested it for me and got 5 fps. thusly I've released the low setting versions :P Thanks for testing!

Well, there aren't many framerate drops on a high end machine of mine, only except when there's explosions. Still, that could mean that the average calculators would burn.

Also, it is so relieving to pick up a gas can or any other pickup with no hands. I'm glad this never made it into Left 4 Dead proper, the fog's just too annoying and even painful.

This structure of mod has come a long way since sidemilu first made it :P
btw, have you tried it in game by any chance? Just wondering if it lags anyone's computer.

The mods I do that are like this function by attaching particles to the hand models. This is done in the .qc files for the hands, so functionally, it's a model mod.
This ends up being problematic for anyone using custom character mods that come with hands.
Sooooo, eventually I was like, fuck it. Between having no hands, and having Francis's meaty tattooed arms, which is better when you're playing as Miku?
So I now release two versions of these mods, one with l4d hands, and one with no hands at all.

I, uh... uhhh...

I have questions. What's the deal with hands, does it affect, I dunno, performance with this fog mod, so you removed it; or for that "classic videogame" immersion, where your character has no hands?
