Description
In this 7-player mission you play as German infantry who needs to push US Airborne away from Neaville in Normandy, France, after a successfull Airborne Operation by the Allies.

Briefing (situtaion)
"On 6th of June, when the Allies landed on the beaches of Normany, they also dropped several airborne units behind the beaches to cut our tanks and reinforcements off, hindering them from reaching the beaches in time. They even dropped some to Neaville, but we managed to beat them. A few days ago, the Allies launched yet another airborne operation at Neaville, this time capturing it and forcing us to retreat. Neaville is vital for our supply lines and for holding our current lines, so we need to take it back!

It's been a while since the Amerikanen captured Neaville. They've had time to dig in well, so expect heavy enemy presence. Machineguns, AT guns, and infantry ambushes are to be expected."

The mission is balanced for SP and Co-Op, but keep in mind, if you play Co-Op, playing without AI (with 2-4 players or so) can be slightly challengeing, but if that's what you prefer, I'm not going to stop you :D

There was one bug though: one enemy squad remained in the wheat field north of the village. They stood there in usual formation and waited for me to attack them; only after killing them, the mission ended...
But the allied counterattack was really awesome :-)

(some enemy tanks for the Panthers to kill would've been great though^^)

Ah, the legendary Arma 3 AI.. Jokes aside it can be pretty terrible. During playtests the Panther tanks were just drifting on the fields, not arriving at all in some cases. I believe these things can be fixed somehow, but that would require extensive changes to the mission, which again I'm too lazy for and the payoff simply wouldn't be worth the hassle.

PS. I might just be absolutely retarded, but what artillery are you talking about? Can't remember any arty in this mission :steamhappy:

Good mission, but there were some "bugs" for me (mb not bugs actually). Firstable artillery misses the target for about 150-300 meters, couldnt use it properly, but the main challenge was, that the tanks were destroyed far away from neaville, and of course i had 3 crewman for reinforcement lol. Oh and a bunch of guys with gun truck stuck in the wall:steamhappy:. Anyway u have good missions, i like to play them, but to be honest other AI squads acts kinda weird, but i guess its not your fault.
