Xeno Biodiversity mod is something I made just out of pure hobby. It includes 6 fully animated portraits hand-drawn by me and Antilogic with some variations and dimorphism coming to some of the species. (With more to come).

KNOWN BUGS/ERRORS:
Accidently used male armor for the clacker portrait. Gonna change that once I add another portrait.

Current species :
Lurker (The guy with third eye)
Clacker (Made by Antilogic, plantoid/arthropoid)
Glower (The guy with 4 yellow eyes)
Snorter (Elephant guy)
Hydra (Lizard in heavy armor)
Arachna (Speaks for itself, the spider guy!)
Aquat (Guy with translucent fins)
Vibran (Chameleon people!)
+ More to come soon ...

UPDATES:
0.1 - Initial upload
0.2 - Probably fixed issue with 2.0.2, see for yourselves if it works.
0.3 - Added Arachna!
0.4 - Added Vibrans and Aquats

@G_S_Palmer Hi!, I would really appreciate if you shared the files with me. I saw the mod being redistributed in several species mods and it would be really sweet if people could get it standalone here too.. I shall ofcourse credit you on here. Thank you so much for your interest and dedication!

Hi Ginufe, I've made a working version of this mod, I was wondering if you'd like me to share the files with you or, if you don't have the mental space to work on it right now, if I could post it. These are some really great portraits you've made and I'd love to be able to help keep them alive.

Hello Ginufe! I I just wanted to say that I really love your Xeno Biodiversity mod. It really adds a lot of variety to the alien species you can encounter. I am working on a species mod called "Species of Stellaris" and I would love to implement your creation into it. I was looking if I can be granted permission to use the mod in this way. Thank you for your time and I look forward to your response.

Hi Ginufe, would you be ok if I included this mod in my patch that condenses all portraits mods in vanilla's species_classes? Your mod would be a requirement for my patch and users would have to subscribe to your mod. @Mythez Must've been someone else. I am glad you've added my mod into yours so that it lives on. I didn't report your mod, so that's sad to hear. If you'd like an official permission from me right here, then I'm giving you the permission to use it.

I lost passion after the fact that my mods were non-functional and I couldn't get the energy to fix them. If you'd ever have the data just as they are separated as my mod and could possibly contact me with just these files so I could see where there's the mistakes that had to be fixed, I could possibly also get back and maybe create some more! :)
