Description

EQUIPABLE DUNMER LANTERN

This mod adds an equipable dunmer lantern to the list of craftable objects.

The recipe is 1 Paper Roll, 1 Leather Strap, 1 Firesalt
(1 Frostsalt for the blue variant or 1 Voidsalt for the purple variant)

If crafting isn't for you, you can also go to Solstheim and steal the lanterns from the Redoran Guard.

Dragonborn DLC is required.

Frequently Given Answers:

yes, these lanterns will burn forever
no, they were made from paper and won't work under water
yes, followers will equip them like normal torches
yes, you can hotkey them without problems
no, you can't take two of them and wear them under your shirt ( why would you want to do that anyway, he? )

I crafted a lantern and it was immediately removed from my inventory ("dunmer lantern added" and "dunmer lantern removed" in the corner of the screen)

Dog gone it &#&()^%$@ ! I loaded it, and its not there. Maybe because I restarted a game from the cloud that didn't have it. Is that Dunmer lantern that your character finds on the dead town guard in Solstiem functional ? I never tried picking it up because I always had three colors in my inventory by then .

I'm going to load this again. Did the creator ever get the hand posture correct with the lantern handle? It would look better in first person.

I never noticed a "torch sound" myself, but I'm still tapping away on an old I - 3 laptop, and my familiar's wolf howl dissapeared a long time ago . I miss that spooky old wolf howl .

Great mod, very much needed. Have one request though: can you remove the torch sound script? There's just a couple of candles in there, not an actual torch. Silence would mean better listening for the approach of enemies. Thanks!
