The light rail station of Bernedorf is a simple, ficticious train station. It has its origins in a route project for Microsoft's Train Simulator which I started years ago and never finished. While it offers just the bare necessities as far as equipment is concerned, it was designed to be still somewhat pleasing to the eye, with dark ground tiles contrasting a white plastered wall with a dark hardwood top.

It features two side platforms of about 80 meters length and is designed to work with any lightrail-type rail vehicle. It can just so accommodate a singe ET423 though.

Please note: This station is a lot SHORTER than the vanilla train station. Your trains may be too long to stop here properly!

I'm also getting the Distance too short error when trying to place it.

I get the error: Distance too short. Is that what you meant with trains too long?

Thx for all your great assets! Maybe an island version for a station?

Thanks a lot! I'm planning single platform stations too.

Just saw this now.. as @REV0 wrote this is fantastic in it's simplicity. Reminds me of eveery modern"suburban" trains station I've ever seen in Central Europe. For instance, there' many of these type stations all around the outskirts of Munich.

An idea? How about a single track version of this train platform? Lots of suburban train lines are single-track, look at Śródborów, Poland, for instance. It's a random nowhere outside of Warsaw, very typical whistle-stop station.
