A mod that seeks to mimic the abilities of the Devil himself, Alex Mercer.

Simply spawn the Red Needle from your weapons menu, use it, and go nuts.

INCLUDED:

All of Mercer's original powers, such as Whipfist, Blade, Muscle Mass, Claws, and Hammerfists.

Passive abilities such as enhanced agility, strength, and innate health regeneration

Ability to consume & become things you kill (This works on combine soldiers! You can blend in!)

A simple custom gore system that utilizes the magic of NPC Death Hooks (Try using the blade on a combine soldier, or the Muscle Mass!)

NOT INCLUDED:

The radial menu featured in the video showcasing the new disguise effect. That addon is called GB Radial Menu

INSTRUCTIONS:

To charge your jumps, hold your Jump key.

While sprinting, your speed will gradually accelerate to the point where you can cross Flatgrass in seconds.

Be careful when landing hard around things you don't intend to kill, because the resulting shockwave can injure or kill bystanders. Hold your Walk key (ALT for me) to perform a soft landing.

You are completely immune to falling damage, so don't be afraid to jump off the highest places you can find.

You take decreased damage from most sources and are completely immune to physics damage. You can drop large, heavy objects on your head and not suffer for it at all.

Press E on any NPC to grab them. You may then deal with them as you please. Methods include throwing (You throw further with muscle mass equipped!) with left click and consuming them (bloodily with zombies and combine soldiers, make an example out of them) with right click.

Also, you cannot die without using the 'kill' command. It's not possible. When you would normally have died, your body will simply lose integrity and collapse into a pile of bones and organs. Fear not, however, as this is not the end for you. Simply spawn a medkit or something else that will boost your health above 10, and you'll be back on your feet in no time at all.

Press Crouch + Walk to engage your dual Shields. They absorb all incoming damage at the cost of immobility. Time your block just right to shieldbash foes, dealing lethal damage.

You can bodysurf on your enemies by airdashing into them at close range.

CONTROLS:

Hold ALT after Airdashing to glide. You can only glide so far. Airdash again to refresh it.

Press your Sprint button while in mid-air to perform an Airdash. You get 2 of them per jump. Each Airdash refreshes your glide ability.

REQUIREMENTS:

You need TF2 for most of the weapon sounds. That's about it. It's free. You don't have an excuse.

CONSOLE COMMANDS:

proto_consume

This command sets you up into a state wherein the next thing you kill will produce a ragdoll that, when used, will be absorbed into your own mass and give you a health bonus equivalent to its Mass * 10

proto_disguise

Disguises you as the last humanoid creature you consumed. No disguising as headcrabs! Disguising as a combine unit will change your faction relation accordingly to most other combine units. If you have a unit that you believe should be added to the list, please mention it in the comments. You cannot disguise as some npcs and you cannot disguise if you're using a prototype weapon.

proto_patsy

While disguised as a combine unit, you can accuse them of being you in disguise, and other combine units will turn hostile and gun them down. Not very practical, but good for a quick laugh.

proto_devastator

When your health is at or above 750, use this command to unleash a torrent of biomass below you that erupts under all enemies within a large radius in the form of deadly deadly spikes. Costs 50 health per use.

proto_armor

This command will cover your body with a hard exoskeleton that is highly resistant to most forms of damage. However, it can only endure so much damage before it breaks and you revert to your previous form. If the armor breaks, there will be a cooldown before you can use it again, as indicated on your HUD. If you disable your armor before it breaks, it can be used again at any time during the recharging process, and it will be significantly shorter depending on how damaged it is. You can also sprint into things while armored to deal heavy damage with a shoulder bash, but this slows you down a fair bit. It slows you down less and deals more damage if you use the Blade while doing so.

proto_hunt

Use while looking at a target NPC or player to track it with a glowy halo that's visible through walls, as well as displaying their health on your HUD.

KNOWN BUGS:

The whipfist, consume, and grab are all bugged when multiple players try to use them at the same time. I don't know how to fix this, so try to avoid that for the time being. If anyone knows how to fix issues like this, please get in touch with me.

If you disable your armor at the exact same moment as you take a hit, it will break.
