Casa De La Muerte

Description
KF-LaCasaMuerta is a remake from scratch of JacksonL's map for Killing Floor Mod (UT2004) which was one of my favourite maps back then.

I tried to keep the original feeling as good as possible but had to add many things to make it suitable to retail gameplay. Unlike other maps, the monsters do only spawn outside the playable areas (except for Patriarch), but therefore the squads spawn twice faster than normally which guarants an action-filled session!

Special Thanks:
Finally, I want to thank my mates that have been involved in beta-testing, server-providing and feeback.

Very poor map design. The zombies endlessly jump sideways in a glitchy fashion when trying to get upstairs. Not only that, they also do this while on the upper floor because of the insane ammount of props with collision. Said props with collisions also make moving through the upper floor obnoxious facing situations where you get stuck for no reason. Both things combined just make the whole map experience awful, specially for sharpshooters.

Hmm, are you sure you are talking about my map?
There is no chopper in it. :D
There are three La Casa maps out there for KF retail (check the links below of aztechrome). Two of them has been created by the original author (La_Casa_Muerta and La Casa Muerta 2), iirc one of them includes a crashed chopper.

great map but you need to do a little bit of tweaking. zeds get stuck quite often in the back house behind the crashed chopper. also in the front. i think removing the left vehical in the front and opening the house in the back a little bit more would solve the problem. also maybe adding a street light or two in the front and a porch light in the back would make life a lot easier when it comes to seeing stuck zeds and helping guide people to kill them

Thank you for the hint aztechrome!
The links you have there are from the original author, he made 2 different versions of "La Casa Muerta", but neither of them are like the original mod version. So I decided to create a remake.

@Mutant
Thanks so much for the link to solidfiles. It makes it so mucn easier for me to implement these on my server. In the event that it gets taken down because DMCA retardedness, I usually upload to at least 3 file locker services, but it's not important if you keep your links updated.

Might I also request that you post a link to the main forum posting for this map at tripwireinteractive.com . As I'm sure you know, those threads are invaluable for resolving issues that other people may have had with the map, or getting the frank opinion of the knowledgeable forum vets, update changelogs, etc. It is so important to have a link to the most current topic, especially in a case where a map has a history and multiple introductions.
