Description
DB's ET423 EMU was introduced in the late 1990's as a successor to the very successful ET420 class. Built by Alstom, it is in service with the S-Bahn networks of Munich, Frankfurt, Stuttgart and the Rhine-Ruhr area. Each ET423 consists of four parts: an end section with a driving cab and an (optional) first class compartment; a middle car with a pantograph and one without, and finally a second end car identical to the first one. The whole train – in contrast to the aged ET420 - is walkable from end to end and the connection between the different sections is accomplished with Jakobs bogies.

Please note that an ET423 is about 67 meters long, which means that two ET423s are about 134 Meters long. The vanilla train station platforms however, are only 124 meters long, so this train will behave a little glitchy at terminals.

Data (whole train):
Vmax: 140 km/h
capacity: 680 pax
tris: 8288 (LOD: 1096)

If you like this mod, I'd be very thankful if you give it a thumbs up. It really makes a difference!

Another question: Can you add DB ET 430?
weoiss 24 Feb, 2018 @ 11:42am
Your right, I don't find long stations... So my question is unnecessary
