MK 2/T Incursion Class Destroyer/Carrier (8 Slot)

Description
IT'S FINALLY FINISHED!

This has been a labor of love and hate (those rear engine nacelles were a pain in the tookus... don't work with rectangles at an angle kids) and I think the effort has been well spent. This is a fast and manueverable ship that can take a punch. The MK 2 Incursion Class Destroyer fixes most of the problems that plagued the MK 1 while adding new features into the mix.

(NEW) It has been given a major refit; it can now fire torpedoes (Hence the name change to MK-2/T)! Its hardpoints have also been updated; it can now mount size-2 turrets.

New features include:

1. Hangers! Now when the AI won't stop pestering you with fighters, you can pester them right back!
2. Better build quality. All those blocks actually actually work to make the ship look better now...
3. Bigger. longer. girt- wider.
4. Sexier. At least 3 times sexier.
5. Incredibly nimble for a ship of it's size. (I worked really hard to make it so)
6. The ring no longer blocks most of your vision.
7. Complete integrity field coverage. (I imagine everyone does this but no one every states it as a feature, so here we are)
8. The thrust section of the engine nacelles are no longer just plain engines, thus making them not look like a glitchy mess.
9. The directional thrusters are all covered by a thin plate that will stop them from bleeding through the sides of the ship.
10. It is just as fast and manueverable as the MK1 while still being twice the physical size and almost entirely made of armor plating.
11. It has 60 Hardpoints upon which to mount turrets, 48 of which can mount size-2 turrets.
12. there's a few more but i have a letter limit and you guys only really care about the stats.

Also what's the block count?

Any plans on updating it to a more of a latest update stage at all? The ship looks nice.

It's not nearly as fun to fly. Usable, but not great. It does cut the cost of the ship in half, however, but it also cuts out 2/3 of its shielding capacity and 37k hull points.

How does it handle taking it down to Naonite and Trinium?

For anyone who's interested, I've updated the ship. It can now fire torpedoes and mount larger (size-2) turrets.

Oh hell yeah, 2,000! Thank you all so much for subscribing to my creation! I know it doesn't really do anything besides make a bigger number, but it's nice to know that so many people like what I build :)
