Description
This mod adds the Gondor civilization with leading Aragorn, King Elessar.
The trait is: the cure in friendly tiles is +50 instead of +20 and, in addition to the settler and the warrior, it starts with a Dunedain.
The Unique Unit is Dunedain that replaces the scout and is stronger and has some promotions.
The Unique Building is Minas Tirith that replaces the Palace giving more hit points and strength to the capital.

These civilizations, which I am doing based on Tolkien's books (Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit and Silmarillion) are more powerful than the normal ones, so if they are played individually they have clear advantages over the others. Instead my goal is to make these civilizations to create scenarios where there are only these civilizations that will recreate situations in Tolkien's books.

Gondor is a fictional kingdom in J. R. R. Tolkien's writings, described as the greatest realm of Men in the west of Middle-earth by the end of the Third Age. The third volume of The Lord of the Rings, The Return of the King, is largely concerned with the events in Gondor during the War of the Ring and with the restoration of the realm afterward.

Aragorn II, son of Arathorn is a fictional character from J. R. R. Tolkien's legendarium. He is one of the main protagonists of The Lord of the Rings. Aragorn was a Ranger of the North, first introduced with the name Strider at Bree, as the Hobbits continued to call him throughout The Lord of the Rings. He was eventually discovered to be the heir of Isildur and rightful claimant to the thrones of Arnor and Gondor. He was also a confidant of Gandalf and an integral part of the quest to destroy the One Ring and defeat the Dark Lord Sauron.

Minas Tirith, originally named Minas Anor, is a fictional city and castle in J. R. R. Tolkien's Middle-earth writings. It became the heavily fortified capital of Gondor in the second half of the Third Age. It was originally built to guard the former capital, Osgiliath, from attack from the west, but became the capital when Osgiliath fell into ruin following the Kin-strife and the Great Plague.

In J. R. R. Tolkien's legendarium, the Dunedain were a race of Men descended from the Numenoreans who survived the sinking of their island kingdom and came to Eriador in Middle-earth, led by Elendil and his sons, Isildur and Anarion. Tolkien's Dunedain are superior to the other men of Middle-earth in nobility of spirit and body, although they were still capable of evil if corrupted, and tended to do more evil in such circumstances. They were tall, with dark hair, pale skin and grey eyes. In addition, Dunedain, especially those of high rank, possessed great wisdom and discernment, and occasional prophecy and they were Rangers. These Rangers rode rough-haired, sturdy horses, were helmeted and carried shields. Their armament included spears and bows.

Thanks
For now there is only one map (Arda) but it is not yet completely associated with these civilizations. I have plans both maps (Middle-Earth, Arda) and scenarios (Arda, Middle-Earth, Beleriand etc.) but now I am continuing another total conversion and therefore this has remained pending.

Elia, I looked to see if there were maps included with the mod downloads and don't see any. Are they there and I'm just not finding them? If not, do you plan on creating maps based on Middle Earth? (By the way--fantastic work on your part so far!)

@nicovallejos
I've seen the mods you're talking about but I have not played them so I do not know what kind of bug it is.
Instead, for the models and the music, I want to add, obviously quoting the authors, but first I want to finish making at least a good part of the civilizations that I have in mind about Tolkien's three books: The Silmarillion, The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit .

@elia bruzzone

There's a Middle Earth Civilizations already in the workshop by [SSU]yenyang. But unfortunately, he is no longer playing Civ V and he is not interested in modding for a game he is unable to play. The bugs in his mod currently persists, thus, he is unable to fix this with v10. The cities disappearing issue upon building a certain building is already at worst, and no one is fixing the issue at all.

Nevertheless, this mod allows us to play as Gondor without using the Middle Earth Soundtrack by [SSU]yenyang. I hope Gondor's standard units will be ethnicized in a ethnic units-style manner; particularly swordsman (Gondor Infantry), spearman (Gondor Spearmen), horsemen (Gondor Cavalry), archer (Gondor Archers), pikeman (Citadel Guards), knights (Swan Knights), long swordsman (Dismounted Swan Knights) and crossbowman (Blackroot Vale Archers)

Però potrei fare anche quella... intanto ne ho già pensate un'altra quindicina; una in più non fa male.
