The 'type' depends on how many circuits go through the line. 1 or 2.

The difference between green and brown wood is merely the type of preservative used. The green preservative is sometime colored brown to give the wood a more natural appearance. Most of the recently installed poles are also green over here, but the older ones are all brown. For the most part, theses types of power lines are a dying breed around here. When they reach the end of their life, they are usually replaced by a more modern metallic trellis.

I love how pylons are now trending in the Workshop. They look great!

Treated poles where i live are green and orange.

Whaaaaaaa???? Around here, the wood pole just gets planted directly in the dirt. They do treat the poles to make them rot resistant and vermin resistant which is why they have those charactéristic brownish blackish coloring. You will sometime see the pole surrounded by a steel culvert filled with rocks in waterlogged areas, but putting cement piles is way overkill and a waste of money. It won't increase the life expectancy of the pole.

I like those, but 2 things feel off about them. The yellow and black stipping at the bottom isn't something that you would find on wooden poles and the wire at the top which is there for thunder protection would be sitting much closer to the top of the pole on an isolator.
