The Prudential, Warsaw

Description
Built between 1931 and 1934 in the Art Deco style for Prudential Insurance company.

At the time of construction, it was the second tallest skyscraper in Europe. In 1936 a large antenna was constructed on the roof for future television broadcasts. The Prudential building soon became a symbol of modern Warsaw and was featured in numerous contemporary films and advertisements.

The building was heavily damaged during World War II, witnessing heavy fighting during the Warsaw Uprising. Ever since it became a symbol of Polish Resistance and perseverance.

@ArchArts Yeah I actually did intend to do few buildings from Marszałkowska Axis. I already got a model up for PKO Central and am thinking of tackling the Vienna Station. However currently I'm finishing up the National Museum and Jabłowski Brothers Department Store. :) Russia Insurance Company is quite high on my list. Not sure about the Main Station as it wasn't really finished and there isn't much material to work with when it comes to reconstruction. Most pictures are from occupation period when Germans made significant alterations to the project.

If I may, I would suggest doing building of towarzystwo ubezpieczeniowe "rosja" or Dworzec główny (this one would be probably easier than the first one). Man it's really great someone finally is bringing back prewar warsaw !

@Mrbenp I never been familiar with german buildings I'm afraid ^^' Since I'm Polish, I'm going to stick to what I know =)
