Riviera Logistics (1-4)

Description
Required DLCs:
- Riviera Line in the Fifties: Exeter - Kingswear Route Add-On
- Western Hydraulics Pack Add-On
- European Loco & Asset Pack

Scenario: Standard
Difficulty: Advanced (yellow)
Duration: 32mins

This little series is about the logistics around the Riviera Line to deliver goods and supplies to the local industries and of course to please the tourists for a comfortable stay.
You are one of the many invisible workers to get things going by delivering your load on time - even when things seem to get delayed due to passenger trains with a higher priority.
So 'high-speed' is not the aim of this series. Finally you will have explored the entire route and probably you may have seen places you haven't seen before.
It would be an advantage if you are familar with all three locos - but also being familiar with operating, shunting and the signalling of course.

In part-1 you start with your Class35 at the end of the branch line in Brixham to deliver your load to Kingswear where you pick up a new load and finally deliver it to Goodrington.

Hi chris, great to see that you give this series a try as well. The route is amazing and of course made for steam locos (and you will see a lot of them). Esepcially this route helped me a lot to familiarise with steam locos and I started to love those as well (and finally - even being a Diesel junkie I publised a series with the Peppercorn later on). Hope you will enjoy this series as well and the 3 locos coming with it. Looking forward to hear from you. Cheers, Coasty

I am not a fan of the Western Hydraulics and consider them a backward step from a Prairie or a Pannier etc.. But I love this line and your scenarios are so realistic, and especially scenarios that start around daybreak. So had to have a go and glad I did as it is one of your usual excellent scenarios that is fun to drive. It is strange but it doesn't matter how many times you have driven a route and think you know it, that in fog it is still disorienting! Enjoyable and will run the other 3, thank you Coasty.

Hi RedRev1917, many thanks for your kind feedback. Great to see that you have enjoyed the series. I'm fine if you show a clip on YouTube - I just don't know whether you would need any permission from Steam or DTG. Cheers, Coasty

That was a very atmospheric early morning start to the day.
I will play part 2 tomorrow.
Once again you have "cracked it" with the "AI" keeping the whole scene live.
