Overview
This map has been created after positive feedback and a few suggestions posted after I released my previous map, Bilbao Bay.

This is the first map I decided to build with more than just basic mods and ended up using a few of great props found in the workshop. While it is fun and challenging to decorate map with props I didn't find it as entertaining as expected and actually got tired at some point ;-) To be honest, I think I will stick to more vanilla maps in the future.

On the other hand, this map inspired me to create new map theme that in my opinion looks good with this map and I hope many of you will find it interesting - NotSoRocky Hills. The theme focuses on cliff texture and realistic look. You will notice that mountain slopes are not covered with rocky cliffs. Actual rock starts on steeper slopes, much higher than in default themes.

Features
  • Temperate theme (custom)
  • Optimised 81 tiles gameplay, good for 25 tiles.
  • All resources available.
  • All outside connections available.
  • Plenty of space to build.
  • Mix of flat and hilly terrain.
  • Ocean, rivers, harbor.
  • Not vanilla - requires various mods and props
  • Easter egg hiding in the fog ;-)

Note on trees
Whenever you build on trees they are not removed just hidden. I strongly suggest bulldozing/deleting in the area you want to build before starting it. It will increase trees and props limit and save you from unwanted hidden data.

Final notes
I strongly suggest using 81 Tiles mod by BloodyPenguin with this map.

Screenshots were taken with Daylight Classic mod by BloodyPenguin which I suggest using, NotSoRocky Hills map theme and Definite Vision LUT by Captain Soap.

@BLAde This map uses custom roads from Network Extensions. The mod doesn't work anymore. Go to the mod RON and follow the instructions.

This map is actually too beautiful to build on. I LOVE it! Well done, I've never seen such intrecate detailed road networks on a new map. Great job! :steamhappy:

@Bluesky, I just played for couple hours. No problems with ships. Maybe try asking on reddit / Facebook? I am more of a builder than player and problem you have is gameplay problem, not map problem :-)

Nah man I'm pretty sure there's a bug somewhere... In other maps when I build harbors they are multiple ships comming pretty quickly.... My city is quite big with lot's of industry and a bit of tourism.

Also there is something strange : on other maps, you can see ships cruising in the distance, even when you haven't build any harbor (the same goes for planes and trains). And on your map, I didn't see any.
