Description

ACI Arx Class Light Defense Station, produced by Ares Combat Industries

The 5th generation of ACI war machinery is here. The release of the Arx marks a great milestone for ACI. The now aging 'Sector Defense Stations' can finally be sent into retirement. ACI also plans to develop a medium and heavy station, due to the hightened demand for such stations. The Arx features a fresh new design, a much more protected control Tower and increased firepower with the addition of a point defense system. The Arx is also equipped with generous living spaces for the stations crew and an auxiliary control room when things get really rough. The main purpose for the Arx will be the protection of lower priority planets or civilian space stations. It will also have a vital role as a smaller staging point or refueling depot. The Arx is designed to hold its own in battle.

ACI is finally back from its slumber! The Arx will be the first of many new vessels and or stations that I have prepared. I hope you enjoy!

Do not use the elevator when the gravity shield is turned on!

I meant I liked the fictional companies within the Space Engineers community, as I have not yet seen the entirety of your space station and therefore cannot really say, other than state my preferences for space stations/structures in general.

Said preference is for simple, boxy, with sharper corners, compact, and utilitarian. This design fits most parameters (based only on exterior due to screeenshots available).

There is a time and place for rounded edges and contours, but not now.
Rounded edges and contours with modern vehicle designs are what I dislike (for the most part), as they are currently over-done. Between the 80's, 90's and early 2000 marked the last of the good boxy vehicle designs which had a balance of some rounded surfaces with sharp corners (refer to Mercedes-Benz vehicle from Jurassic Park: The Lost Day).

The 'cube car'(c) is an abomination which should be purged in holy cleansing flames.

No it does not sadly... Glad you like it though!

Does it contain LCD's with the company logo?

I've always liked those in space engineers community content. It adds much more flavor.

@k_medlock: Oh my fault. I remember these elevators reversed gravity to let you fall to the upper level. Now, they let you walk on the wall to reach the other level.

@k_medlock The elevators work perfectly. You just need to activate them by pressing the first button on the control panel. Fixed the oxygen problem ;)

@Moadieb Oh gosh really? I dont think i changed anything... I'll have a look at it tomorrow. Thanks for letting me know! :)

@k_meadlock: Did you change anything? Because both elevators are not working anymore. And the top one is not pressurized anymore.
