Description
Quick description : A mod to create a new Teleportation network, to teleport to other locations of the same world without reloading the whole map.

0. Notes, warnings, etc...
This mod is using HLib, a set of scripts that Hiran made to help mod devs. You can't use WTM 3 without it.
Current version of the mod : 3.3
This is the current stable version.
This mod was tested for a long time, and shouldn't have any problem. If you find one, please contact me ASAP on forums, or on our discord server (link on the bottom)

1. Description
WTM Teleporter Mod (Recursive Acronym) is a mod which provides a new teleporting bookmark management system. It uses its own data storage format, and allows much more sorting functions than the Vanilla system.
It also provides objects with specific features, to help players to build an efficient teleporting network.

Items :
- The WarpBook : The core of the mod, as it is providing a UI with the WTM system. Using it, you can save positions, and teleport to them. It also has many sorting features, while Vanilla only have one common list.
- The DataCard : An item used to transfer data between WTM objects
- The CEC (Custom Expansion Cards) : An upgraded version of the datacard, able to store many data.
- The PassCards : A specific datacard which carries passwords you can use to auth on WTM objects, and lock them.
- The Beacon : A teleporter, able to store bookmarks, and teleport you to them
- The OWT (One-Way Teleporter) : A tiny teleporter which only stores one set of coordinates
- The Light-Beacon : A smaller version of the OWT, which allows to teleport monsters and NPCs
- The Server : A back-up tool, which can be used to transfer data between players
- The Dispenser : An object able to create and update CEC
- The WorkBench : The object you need to craft anything
- The Security Station : An object which allows you to remove the lock you set on several WTM objects
- The Configurator : A tool used to manipulate datacards, or to configure the OWT
- The ShapeShifting Teleporters : Some objects which acts like Teleporters (OWT/Beacon/LightBeacon/Vanilla Teleporter), but which can take the look & shape of any vanilla object.
- The TempBeacon : A "fake" object needed by ShapeShifting Teleporters

2. F.A.Q.
- My game crashed because of this mod / The objects aren't answering / I got an error message in my logs
> Please contact me on the forums, or on my Discord server.

- What is HLib / Why is it needed ?
> HLib is a set of scripts written by Hiran to help mod devs (like me). As I'm using many of his functions, this is a requirement.

- Where are the crafts ?
> You need to craft a WTM Workbench at the Architect's Station. All the other objects can be crafted from this object.

- How can I use XXX object ?
> Check the forum topics. Each WTM object also have its own "Help" tab which explains quickly how to use them. You can also check the video on this page.

- Can I ask for features ?
> There is a forum topic for that. You can also join us on discord to talk about your idea

Well, the update is ready, but I wait for some feedback from testers on the Discord server (if you want to test it yourself, the link to the server is in the mod description!)
If nothing goes wrong, I'll push the update on Steam Workshop next week!

Glad that this mod can be of use :happy_yeti:

Woah, that sounds really cool! (not counting editing a whole bunch of interfaces... :isaac:)
By the way, thank you for keeping us updated!

The good news is that these changes are trivial and will only require me to add a few checks in the codebase, and edit all UIs ( :vvvvvv_victoria: ) to add the checkbox to enable/disable the effect.

It won't be available today, but I think it'll be pretty quick to change. :SBpenguin:

Hi and thanks!
I'll check if it isn't too hard to do if I have some time this week-end! :happy_yeti:

Howdy, Soblow!
Thank you and Hiran for making this mod exist, it allows you to take construction to the next level! (and it also became a real salvation for me in some architectural problems in this game )

However, I have a question/suggestion: is it technically possible to remove the sound and animation of a blink during a teleport? Perhaps in the form of a switching setting (because other players may need sound and animation).

In my case, I’m building background rooms in my house and when interacting with an ordinary door disguised as a teleporter, this “blink” looks and sounds quite strange.

I still use this to create background rooms using decorative doors and to make the dungeons I create for friends a bit more interesting. While the UI could potentially be cleaned up it's perfectly functional for what its meant to be.

P.S. Hope you're well Soblow ^^

Thanks in advance!

Nah nah, you're fine, I'm just a bit rowdy overall grahahahar

I wouldn't wanna force you to come back to modding of this honestly quite dead game (if not for FU it'd surely be one), but... I'll try to provide actual feedback and suggestions once I'm done playing with it for long enough. Thank ya!

Sorry if I may have sounded aggressive.

TBH I've moved from SB modding since some time now, but if someone finds a bug I'd gladly update the mod to fix this.

I don't plan on adding new content to this mod, it works nicely "as-is". But don't hesitate if you have ideas of additions for this mod to share them, either here, on this mod page discussions, or on Discord.

If someone wants to contribute again I can make updates and add their contribution.

Bro, the last update was 4 years ago, and the last comment was 3 years ago! What am I supposed to think - that this mod is bustling with life? :lunar2020gigglemonkey:
Well, glad it's still kicking, just thought maybe you had some more bugs to fix or features to add - but guess not!
