All AI + 5X Galaxies with No Wormholes v1.8

Description
This is a variation on the All AI + 5X Galaxies mod that has no wormholes on any galaxy type. See this post for a full description of the galaxy types included. This mod was made by request since my original No Wormholes mod is not compatible with 5X galaxies. This mod can be used with or without 5X.

The prerequisite mods/DLC are optional; just make sure you don't try to start a game with more races than you have available.

Make sure it's activated in the mods menu and below other mods that might overwrite the same settings

Subscribers note that Mike's New Races v3 has been released as a separate mod from v2, so you will need to unsubscribe from v2 and subscribe to v3 if you are using MNR to play with up to 16 opponents. The link is in the description or you can find it in the workshop. Version 3 is now fully compatible with 5X and should be loaded below 5XCPC. The order in which you put MNR and All AI + 5X Galaxies does not matter.

This mod has been updated to include the new Unstable galaxy type. The 5X v5.1.1 also includes a fix for Mike's New Races. To get the race screen to load for MNR, load in the order

This mod has been updated to the 5X v5.0 settings. It is also now compatible with Mike's New Races, with which you can play with up to 16 opponents.

I am updating this mod tomorrow, January 15 at the same time as Split Tech Tree. I do not anticipate this update breaking any save files, but it will give a "mod configuration has changed" message that you can ignore. The update will implement 5X v5.0 galaxy changes and provide support for Mike's New Races.

I got it to work but it wasn't consistent. Like you said there's something in the galaxy.bin that's not considering wormholes during generation. It'll place them (you can see this in the output log if you deliberately set blackHoleSeparation too high). Something in the bin's C# isn't expecting them right after homeworld placement.

It'll work about 1 in 6 attempts on a Medium Spiral if you set min and maxBlackHoles to 1. I managed to generate quite a few Spiral games with wormholes that cross between player sectors (and not the middle sector), but it requires a lot of crash restarts before you get a seed that works.

Spiral and cluster galaxies will crash the game if you try to add wormholes. They're not set up for it. The modding system has no way around it.

Do you have a version of this that actually *adds* wormholes to Spiral/Cluster galaxies?
