Backstory

Lance was born as a middle class boy in the northeastern hills of high rock. Lance often would practice being a soldier, and spending days waiting for his father, who was in rolled in the imperial legion, to return home. Growing up Lance had few friends, cause he lived in the distant hills. Lance was raised an only child, and at the age of 16 his mother tragically died of Rockjoint. Lance, having no where to go, joined the army in hope of finding his father. After 2 years of intense army training, Lance had received no news on his father, so he decided to contanct a higher up about his father. After asking the commanding Imperial office of HighRock of his father's where abouts, Lance received the news of his father dying in a skirmish to the rebel stormcloaks 5 months ago. Lance continued training for the next two years, and becoming a renowned Imperial soldier. Lance found out at his latest soldier checkup he was infested with Rock Joint, and that it's been infecting him for the past 4 years. Lance was told he only had 25 days to live, and that he should unlist from the army. Using all of his saved money, Lance traveled around Tamriel, searching for a cure to his deadly illness. No matter where he went, Lance was told the same thing, that there was no cure to his illness. Lance prayed to ever God he knew, but nothing changed. Vance on his second last day till death, had a vision. Lance was horrified, the voice spoke to him and told him that he could save Lance. Lance foolishly agreeded, not knowing the consiquences, and was turned into an afflicted. The voice vanished, and Lance was horrorfied at what he has become. Lance was scorned where ever he went, and sought to get revenge on Peryite, the Daedric lord of Plauge. Eventually, Lance's travels led him to Whiterun, meeting the DragonBorn.
