Description
Chimera Heavy Assault Vessel. (Class 2 SV) (See update below, Important)

Primary roles: Base assault, dog fighting, long range survival missions.

An unusual looking ship with massively over sized front gun emplacements, this ship was designed for pure performance. Although being fairly large and loaded with the maximum amount of firepower allowed in survival, it has one more trick, it also is extremely fast and agile. Packing 70 RCS units and a ton of thruster's (Some visible, some not), this beast was tuned to provide the fastest in game performance allowed in every direction. It also can take some hits.

It has every other quality of life feature the game has to offer (Alpha 7.5) for survival including oxygen, storage, constructors, warp core, armor locker, fridges, an internal cockpit access. It also has large fuel and air storage and quick access to all consumables.

I included some screens shots of it landing on existing ships. It can easily be docked in the hangar on Cerberus. It can dock in the hangar of the Manticore although it is a tight fit thru the hangar door. It also can dock on the Carapace but only on the top larger landing pad.

The ship is a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. :)

Update 1/9/2018 - Important!!

I found a couple issues with this ship and it fell a bit short on some specs as well as would over max the power in atmospheres. I seem not to be able to update this version of ship now do to a ID mismatch that happened when I saved the ship but I didn't realize had been dropped from steam. A long story short is I cannot update this ship, so I released a second version.

I made a few changes, balanced the thrust better, and changed a body line in the center area of the ship. The new version is The Chimera-HSV-B found here:

There are more details and screen shots of the body line changes. Sorry about the issues.

I hope u dont mind,i did some changes to your ship and kinda updated a bit for the current version of the game :d,basicaly i did the ship to work and is for my taste,i just release it public for everyone to test it..if u have a problem pls tell me so i can remove it from workshop.

Hi,

Nice ship as usual. I just added a missing rear sensor to trigger the back door and ramp access.
I guess you missed it since you put it on the MX-15

hey again, i will try to fix this on my own but im not expert in this game mechanism :) anyway will be very glad if u can make an update to make those automated back door, ramp and light.. not only for me I think. I wish u all best and thanks again for those amazing ships!!!!

Thanks Riky. Yeah, this ship pre-dated me doing the auto lights and ramps etc. You have to add two sensors to do it right. One someone on the ceiling in the back room (optimal) and one near the back door, and define the area of them and name them something. Then go to each light, look at it and hit the P key, get into the 3rd tab and set it to the sensor name. Same goes for the back door and ramp. However the ramp also needs the I option selected (invert) or it will be backwards. I would have to look at this ship and figure out the best spots for the sensors. I may try to update the ship sometime with these features, I am just really having issues with time at the moment. I hope that helps. Thanks!
