Helaene - Trickster Class

Tired of being so serious all the time? Want to shake up your gameplay?
I'd like to introduce you to my new Trickster class mod!

Tricksters are common across many mythologies, and this class borrows from several. The theme is pranking, transformation and (terrible) puns. This class is tied primarily to the Polymorph ability track. With Tricksters, you have to be careful because they get their fun by harrassing allies as well!


Level 1:

Thumbtack (Starter)
Leave a piercing present on your target's chair - ouch! Does piercing damage and might cause bleeding.

Bushwhacked (Starter)
Lash out at your opponent from bush form and possibly disarm them.

Cow Form (Starter)
* Moo-ve Over - Push your enemies out of your way and do damage to all of them.
* Vitamin D-licious - Restore vitality and fortify target character with your nutritious... fluids.
* Herd Mentality - You and your buddies grow horns, allowing you to rush at enemies and impale them.

Trip
Throw a banana peel and watch your unsuspecting enemy (or friend) take a dive. Whoops!

Trick or Treat
Trick or Treat! Its Halloween and time to pay a visit to your neighbor's house...


Level 4:

Stink Bomb
Poison your target and set 'smelly' on yourself to reduce your chance of being attacked. Your smell might even knock them out!

Play Possum
Fool enemies into thinking you kicked the bucket. Any action will cancel the status.

Joy Buzzer
Zap! Electrify someone with a seemingly friendly handshake. Deals damage and clears Charmed and Mad statuses.

Panty Raid
Run around stealing everyone's panties and pop them in the freezer overnight. They'll be shocked and chilly in the morning!

Rooster Form
* Chicken Little - The sky is falling! Each falling rock does damage to enemies within a range from impact.
* "Bock Block" - Deflect incoming projectiles aimed at you and nearby allies for 2 turns.
* Special Delivery - Fly over your targets and generously drop a fecal present on each of them. Does damage and leaves a poison puddle, but also has a chance of giving them lucky status!


Level 8:

Tongue-Twister
Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers. Your tricky tongue removes several negative surfaces and statuses, as well as revealing invisible characters, while leaving enemies wet.

Turning Tricks
Pay conjugal visits to nearby enemies. They'll get lucky, but they'll also get diseased and have a chance of falling in love or asleep.

Smoke Bomb
Catch me if you can! You disappear in a cloud of smoke and gain invisibility for 1 turn. Blind nearby enemies.

Anansi
* Spin Doctor - Charlotte's got nothing on you. Do damage to your enemies and tangle them up in your webbing to feed on for 2 turns.
* Arachno-Hypnosis - Confuse and mute your enemy, and deal damage.
* Spider Surprise - You know what you need in your life? A surprise spider! I'm sure it won't cripple you with fear...


Level 12:

Pandemonium
Start a chaos storm and deal random damage from the sky. Enemies may be driven mad!

Poppet Army
Summon two creepy poppets to taunt and torment your enemies.
*NOTE* This will only summon 1 poppet unless you selected Trickster at Character Creation.

Hat Trick
Transform your enemies into harmless widdle bunnies.

Coyotl
* Leader of the Pack - Turn your friends into coyotes like you, so that you can hunt as a pack for 2 turns. Gain power based on your pack size.
* Coyote Chomp - Nip at your enemies ankles, causing them to bleed if they try to move.
* Call of the Wild - Howl to your pack, encouraging your allies and terrifying your enemies. Pushes back surrounding characters.



If you select the Trickster class at Character Creation, you'll start with the game assuming a bow weapon. The starting skills are listed above. The class comes with preset Comeback Kid talent, 1 point each in Persuasion and Luck, and 1 point each in Wits, Intelligence and Finesse, but those are all changeable. The default skillset is Polymorph, Rogue and Ranger - you can change if you want, but removing Polymorph will disable the starter skills.



The trader's name is Loki, and he has dark skin and green clothing.
You'll find him in the following locations:

1) Inside Fort Joy, near the blue lizard Hydrosophist trader (outside the gang area)
2) Just inside the gate into Driftwood (before you get to the main square)
3) To the left when facing the Town Crier in Arx main square
4) On the Lady Vengeance, outside the bunk room

Skillbooks can also be found in a barrel near the Braccus statue on the beach outside Fort Joy.
