Real Gun Names

Description
This mod has been now made obsolete by my new, far superior mod Real Names Infinite. Please do check it out!

This mod changes gun names to the names of their real-life counterparts. So far, this mod only changes the names of the weapons, but I'm considering adding descriptions.

The following changes were made to gun/weapon names:

Autopistol - M1911A1

Revolver - S&W Triple Lock

Machine pistol - Tec-9

Heavy smg - FAMAE SAF

Pump shotgun - Remington 870

Chain shotgun - Saiga-12

Bolt-action rifle - Lee-Enfield

Sniper rifle - M24

Assault rifle - M16A2

LMG - DP-28

Incendiary launcher - T-9 Incendiary Launcher

Minigun - M134G Minigun

Let me know, of course, if you find there to be any issues with this mod, and I'll get working on it as soon as possible. I'm also very open to suggestions, if you have any. The same goes for comments, questions, and critiques. I don't get many comments, so when I do, I always read them.

Thanks to IndustryStandard for giving me permission to use his idea, and most of the weapon name changes in this mod.

@Scout Gaming Some of the models may have changed since I originally made the mod, however, I likely made some mistakes as well, since I'm not an expert on the subject.

I'll consider updating this with your suggestions, however, the mod's been obsolete anyway, by more-recent one "Real Names Infinite", where you can supply your own names for everything.

You are so incorrect. The shotgun is mossberg 500. The assault rifle is clearly A4 and not A2 you can easily tell by the 2 pixels on the right. Obviously heavy smg was meant to be a UMP45 and reolver is CLEARLY a ruger redhawk like c'mon it's gunsmithing 101

I'm pretty sure the chain shotgun is an AA-12

There are some other close match guns that might be better fits. The bolt action rifle might be the mosin nagant, similar in the shape of a lot of the parts, but designed and manufactured by pre-Soviet Russia. And the sniper rifle might be the m21, again similar shape to the m24, but even more distinct because of a semi automatic action. Also, the auto pistol might be a browning hi-power, same designer and manufacturer as the m1911, but it uses a 9mm round instead of .45.

Royalty added more advance guns, did not add industrial guns from my recollection.
