Space Turtle SV Work Platform

This small vessel is designed for working in hostile (hot/cold/radiation/stormy/space) environments. It has a door in the roof where you can launch your personal drone for exterior building or mining, and plenty of lights so you can see what you're doing while working. The interior is sealed so that you can stand in safety while your drone works. Use the interior cockpit for this.

It also has weapons (miniguns and rocket launchers) for taking out pesky drones, and I've also used it to remove turrets from POIs. There is plenty of thrust to help you dodge incoming fire. But I would recommend using the front cockpit for combat if you are worried about the hull getting punctured. Even though it is hardened steel and armored glass, the front cockpit can absorb more damage.

When the ship is level I have to open the overhead door and jump a bit in order to be able to launch the drone.
