This is the one I was thinking of.
can you do an underground colony? the problem with mars IRL is that theres no magnetosphere protecting us from solar radiation, thats one of the reasons mars has no or at least very little atmosphere. so the only real option to colonize before terraforming is implemented is to build airtight underground bunkers. What youve done with that city of yours is truly incredible but perhaps you could try building an underground base or subterrain bunker facility.
The true challenge here is to make it look good enough to put on the outside above ground too. Like your Fortress or stronghold thing. Ive been experimenting with using that as an underground base.
