Description

This is my first contribution to the Squad mapping community. Player feedback is highly appreciated, post in discussions.

Map description:

It takes place in the mountainous and surprisingly lush province of Panjshir, in north-eastern Afghanistan. The home of the legendary five lions, and birthplace of the well-known political and military leader Ahmad Shah Massoud.

The landscape feature a large river carving through the region, sustaining the communities with food and electricity. Fields of poppies, wheat and corn are plentiful and orchards dot the land.
Although the valley look calm and peaceful you can see the remnants of the Soviet-Afghan war, with Soviet tank and truck wrecks scattered throughout the ancient terrain.

Because of the lush environment vehicle crews has to be careful of ambushes. Use your team to secure the surroundings, play to your strengths and mind your weaknesses to gain the advantage. The US team boast more firepower, but move slower through the rough terrain and has longer respawns. The RU team move faster around the battlefield and feature shorter respawns but provide less firepower.

To open the map locally use the command;
AdminChangeMap Panjshir_AAS

NOTE: If you experience low framerates at times, try turning off Ambient Occlusion and/or lower Effects to Low or Medium. This affect the ground and water texture qualities.

In progress:

-Further optimization (LOD, culling, mesh merging, materials, effects).

To-Do:

-Detailed building interiors.
-More game modes (RAAS, Skirmish).
-More fleshed out sound profile.

actually ive only got Squidbots Zeus Mod, not sure if thats the one? cant find any others

I've got Zeus mods, and zeus vanilla maps, how do i add this map to its list of available maps? or is that now how it works
