Description
AOE Wayfarer Hydrogen Hauler, produced by A.O.Engineering

The Wayfarer. AOE’s first dedicated hydrogen hauler. Requested by customers for quite some time AOE eventually decided to give in to the request and developed a state-of-the-art hydrogen hauler. The Wayfarer is the perfect ship to transport hydrogen through the vast reaches of space. It can fill up to 24 tanks with hydrogen and deliver it to places that need it. The Wayfarer comes with extensive life support systems and 2 Jumpdrives in case a delivery run turns out to be longer than expected. 3 Gatling turrets and several smaller turrets provide a somewhat reasonable defense in case of an attack.

When I saw the Virtue corvette in the SE intro, I instantly fell in love with it. I insisted it would be the ship I left Earth-like for the first time in. Now, years later, I run a custom-order shipyard on Pertam and find myself in need of a good hydro hauler. When I found the Wayfarer, I fell in love again. Some designs just knock it out of the park. (LOL mine never do.) Thanks again for fueling my passion for playing SE!

Very nice!

@-A- Jan Gaarni perhaps you can use the assembler for quick repairs, its not entirely useless!

" I just thought the assemblers added some nice detailing to the ship "
Aaah, ok, I see. :)

I haven't fired up the game yet and spawned it in to check it out. :)
Just judged it from the images so far. :p

@-A- Jan Gaarni Well the assemblers are not as large as the tanks so i might not be able to fit many more. I just thought the assemblers added some nice detailing to the ship and with the assemblers you would also be able to repair parts of your ship since you can produce components. Anyhow thanks mate! :D

You know, you could probably fit more tanks if you ripped out the assemblers and most of the oxygen generators. :)

It IS a hauler after all, not a processing plant? :p

Either way, like the design. Subbed and rated up. :D
