Description
Compatible: BNW and G+K
Still playing vanilla? Check out my mod Building Made Fun

Adds 8 new buildings. Most are taken from my old mod, BMF. The art is 50-50 unused Firaxis art and icons done by the masterful sukritact.

The buildings are:
- Triumphal Arch: +2 culture, +3 happiness (4 in G+K); available when completely eliminating an enemy civilization
- Public Baths: +1 food, +1 happiness
- Customs House: +1 gold on sea tiles (tile improvement renamed Manor) , +2 gold from incoming foreign trade routes (BNW only)
- Tourist Office: +2 tourism (gold in G+K), +4 gold on natural wonders and mountains, +2 on atolls and oases
- Industrial Park: +1 production / 3 citizens, +3 science; requires 1 oil
- Wildlife Preserve: +3 culture for elephants, deer, foxes and whales
- Jeweler (BNW only): +1 culture, + culture on gems, pearls, gold, silver; requires gold or silver nearby
- Cable Network (BNW only): +2 happiness
- Airport (G+K only): +1 gold / 3 citizens, +15% production for airplanes; requires 1 oil
- Supermarket (G+K only): +1 food / 5 citizens; requires 1 wheat, 1 cattle and 1 fish

Also includes changes to existing financial/naval buildings (G+K only):
- Market: +1 gold on food resources (no longer free +2)
- Harbor: +2 gold on luxury resources (no more production on sea resources)
- Seaport: +2 production on sea resources (no more gold); requires lighthouse
- Stock Exchange: +3 gold on coal, oil and aluminum; gold bonus reduced to 25%

Don't like that? Just delete financialChanges.xml to disable.

It says it references better culture victory, but it's not required, right?

k ty, ill have to check my things then, I seem having something modifying my start mmhhhh. I do only a couple workers, a market a library then a university and wonders in all my towns and I'm always like -50-75-100-125 gold per turns with 0 tech per turn and almost have to make a new game but I always manage to win anyway, maybe cause I'm lucky i don't know lol but my early start sucked a lot my last 5 games...

is the market bnw doing 1 gold +25% or 2 gold +25% ? im having dificulties early game since a couple of games lol, I wanted to be sure those (G+K only) was truely G+K

You were probably having a golden age before.

Other "workable mountains" are bound to cause conflict as they no doubt also rely on a fake feature overlay. I made sure mine was compatible with Pouakai's wonders (where applicable). I think that by deleting the file Tourism\tourism.lua from my mod, compatibility will be restored. This will remove the gold on mountain effect of the tourist office. Otherwise delete the entire Tourism folder and the tourist office will be removed entirely.

Hi, I tried another mod not working and I think it is because of your mod. The name of the mod I tried is "Workable Mountains" link : http://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=233614126&searchtext=workable+mountains

Tourist Office: +2 tourism (gold in G+K), +4 gold on natural wonders and mountains, +2 on atolls and oases ------> thats probably the conflict I guess.

Could you verify if your mod is the problem plz and do something about it ? (I'll go ask the same to the other author).

I will look at the tourism office. I'm not fond of changing the customs house as proposed, which has little added value to gameplay given the seaport. Even with +1 gold, (non-resource) sea tiles have poor yields and I find it barely worth working them, but this at least provides a valid tradeoff.

The tourism ofice are written 4 gold per mountain but I have 5, dunno if it is a mod conflict or if you forgot to change the text. Also, we cannot sell those building to put them to better places...
