(IG) Hoplite Armored Fighter

The Hoplite Armored Fighter was designed with protection in mind, as it features thick layers of heavy armor with the thickest being in the front surrounding the cockpit. Because of its dense heavy plated armor, the Hoplite can take the punishment that other fighters cannot and hit back. The Hoplite weighs in at just a little under 80,000 kg and is rather agile despite its appearance. The Advanced Locking Mechanism, which has become a staple in InfernoTech Engineering, is comprised of a connector and a merge block, allowing two grids with compatible locking mechanisms to form a safe and secure connection. The recommended strategy for piloting a Hoplite is to stare the target square in the face and use the frontal armor to your advantage. The recommended strategy for taking down an enemy Hoplite is to hit it not in the face and instead aim for the sides or anywhere where there isn't armor.
