Delton House Estate

Welcome to the Delton House estate, a Full Custom scenario setup, and a great Sandbox mode park too!

Set in the idyllic green English countryside of Lincolnshire is the 1000 acre Delton House Estate. Lord Delton has recently inherited this prestigious Estate from his Great Grandfather, continuing the family ownership dating back to the late 16th Century. In an effort to increase revenue from the Estate he has hired you to turn the house grounds, and his Great Grandfather's collection of vintage rides into a modern theme park.

The park is setup with a number of Old or Classic rides, relating to the family collection, Lord Delton has specified that none of these must be removed, and as the House itself is a Grade I listed building this cannot be modified in any way. Your improvements to the park must respect the existing Historic infrastructure. (i.e. All the existing buildings & rides are locked and can't be changed)

- Scenario is probably "Medium Difficulty" I wanted this to be a nice fun Scenario to play, but with some targeted aims.
- Easy / Medium / Hard goals are open ended, see pic for reference. I would have liked to have a bit more scope on some of the sliders for setting these TBH!
- Starting cash approx. £20k, roughly 1000 Guests already in the park (which will rise rapidly)
- Park is financially stable @ the start of the scenario.

The main house is heavily based on the Real life "Belton House" in Grantham, Lincolnshire, England. Which turns out is where the movie adaptation of Jane Austen's "Pride & Prejudice" was filmed.

This is my 1st attempt at a scenario park & I welcome all feedback & comments, particularly if there is something you feel could be improved.

This Scenario HAS been play tested before publishing & is achievable & Fun! :)

I will have a look & see about the Beefy pathing problem, but i've not played PlanCo since 2018...

This is a beautiful park. You have done an amazing job. I want to visit this place myself! I can't wait to play it. I am getting notifications at the outset that there is no path to the central Chief Beef and it won't let me lay one. Is it something that you can correct please?

This was uploaded before the C5 Gaming contest opened so is not elligible unfortunately. The Scenario Spotlight submission was correct.

if this is for the scenario contest, you have to submit using the scenario contest form in #announcements. I found this in my inbox for scenario spotlight, which is separate from the contest.
If this was intended for the scenario spotlight I will check back to it after the contest ends.

Version 2 Updated today, please see change notes for amendments made. These will only take effect in NEW Scenario plays, and will not affect existing savegames. Thankyou particularly to CT_Marauder for constructive community feedback.

No problem @ all Fubar89 I figured it would be easier getting feed back from people trying it out than testing your own work as we can always do things easier with our own stuff and what works best.

I'm just slow with info and feed back because I play at the slowest speed and never speed it up just to end things fast and move on I like to enjoy the game.

Ok cool, that's the kind of feedback that is spot on, I'll tweak the 15k goal as soon as possible to make it more achievable. Thanks Marauder, much appreciated.

@Fubar 89 I wouldn't have said anything but I'm on two weeks working on your park and have 9 coasters and 15 rides plus extended the train transport but just can't seem to keep enough rides running to make that last 15k x3 months. A lot of guests are tied up on your Ghost train tour and the walk around takes time for the guests in the park to the different rides. Enough of a combination to make that money one a pitta.

Otherwise I love the park and scenario you have made an amazing place.

If there's a consensus among subscribers that the bar is set a bit too high for the 15k Target please let me know & I can look at adjusting it
