Gauss light tank (Anarchy)

Wheels from Empire light tank, turret from SKI MBT Svantovit and guns made by Dmitriy.

Gauss is named after his guns. They are working on electromagnetic accelerating of feromagnetic projectile. The volatage here is high so don t touch barrel and coils!

Dmitriy found destroyed Svantovit. The suspension was destroyed but turret was without scratch. With help of Ivan he detached turret and brough it back home. There he removed cannons because we didn t have ammunition for them and we also couldn t made it. Dmitriy came with idea of making electromagnetic rifles instead.

He mounted finished turret back at the "homemade" hull from Empire light tank. The Gauss was born. Later they added some more steel for better protection and also some pistons for better stability while shooting. While gauss guns are quiet they still have recoil.

With this combination of high mobility and quite a lot of firepower the feared opponent arised. It can wait hidden in the darkness till that new Empire tanks come. One shot and one tank is down. Or when it will fire into the ceiling the tunnel will collapse and 10 of them are out.

But this thing is quite big. It can t move through smaller tunnels. And also it don t have that good mobility in rough underground terrain. It is patient hunter. Stalk your prey and then pulverize it.
