Cargo Barge

Designation "Nimbus"

Taking a step back to a once profitable venture, we at JT offer up yet another to our line of Barges. This gem was designed for light hauling duties to and from mining colonies and has the abillity to act as a long range resupply ship.

Take consideration to the amount of time you have in atmosphere, it isnt much. but it has the abillity to breach many small planet's atmosphere with ease.

There are multiple configurations of this ship floating around, however the most common is shown to you here, today, however the other forms fill roles from support, bombardment, Hydrogen tanker, oxygen barge, and yes the list goes on and on.

This ship was designed around the ideal of small but respectfully resourceful builds. if you find an issue in any of the presentation OR ship, please feel free to express your findings down below, i promise i read ALL of them :)

to everyone, this ship has been made to work to break atmosphere, unsure if able to break under load, but can break alien atmosphere now :D

i will be making an iteration specifically to fix this issue :) thank you all for the inputs and i hope i can fix this issue

i made some changes to the ship msg me when your online next ill show ya what i done it was not able to break atmosphere so i changed some stuff up.

@jimlore78 Honestly with the amount of downward thrust it should work fine in planets but maybe its lacking downward ion engines to break the top of the atmosphere

My computer cannot handle planets, as such I'm relying on a friend to test the ships I make, she said it handled atmosphere and that it broke the threshold, but beyond that I couldn't say how she tested. Originally I had wanted some thing I could drop from orbit, use and then break down after one use or so

I see both ion and atmospheric thrusters, but it doesn't appear to be capable of transitioning from planet to orbit again. Am I missing something?
