Description
Short Self-promo:
If you like this map, please remember to give it a thumbs up! I created this map to be the basis of my new let's play series, so be sure to check that out as well ( http://youtube.com/czardus )

Theme:
This map uses a custom theme ( http://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1216255266 ). Do not miss subbing to it as otherwise you won't get the look.

Required Assets:
The assets listed on the right are required to achieve the level of detail you see in the video and images. I designed the map with fps performance in mind. Through most of the map (even the areas with a lot of trees), I am able to get 60 fps because most of the assets are not hard on performance. That said, if you have performance issues, the map will run with only the theme and rail assets (if you don't care to have trees, rocks, and cool details).

Recommended Assets/Mods:
I believe the map is playable in 9 tiles, but I do recommend using the 81 tiles mod in order to enjoy the full map. Also note that water will be a little challenging in only 9 tiles but you should be fine if you rely primarily on water towers for a water source. Water is less of a challenge if you use the full 81 tiles.

More Background:
I based the map on Summit County, Colorado, and used terrain.party to get started. The large body of water at sea level in the map is actually Dillon Resevoir, the water source for the city of Denver. The mountain range is part of the Continental Divide in the United States. I placed the highway approximately where the real I-70 is located, and the national roads are both placed approximately where state roads 9 and 91 are located.

In real life there is no longer any rail lines in Summit County, but historically there was once the narrow gauge rail line operated by the Denver, South Park & Pacific Railroad. I tried to figure out where the rail once traversed and placed the rail line in the map along the route I think it took including the real life Boreas Pass over the mountains.

Ok, I got this. There was some martian theme, lol. One more question, what LUT do you use?

The soundtrack you’re listening to isn’t related to the map. You can change the music at any time by changing the radio station. You can find the station in the top right of the screen.

I realyyyy enjoy this map, but is there any way to change soundtrack to original? It's a little bit creppy :P

Love Summit County, spent my early 20's riding Keystone and Breck.

@josephson.michael - I always completely exit the game when switching from one city to another, even when I'm playing without any custom content. It's a good idea to do it.

I got it working. If anyone else is experiencing this issue -- the problem is related to the 81 Tiles Mod. If you unlock all 81 tiles and then load a save in the same session, the save will fail to load. Exit out of the game completely, load the save, and it will work. My process--start new game with the map, unlock all 81 tiles, save, exit out of the game, start the game and load the save. Now you should be good. Note that trying to load a save without first exiting to the desktop will always fail.

Any saved game created with this map is failing for me with an "index out of range" error (as reported by Loading Screen Mod). No assets are reported as missing. I start a new game with the map, save immediately, and then that save cannot be loaded. Any clues?
