This is FAQ section for COD Infinite Warfare weapon mods collection by scream.

Q: QR-M5TR, can I make request?

A: Negative, I don't take requests. An off-topic questions will be ignored.

Q: Is it necessary to subscribe to Particles support mod?

A: Yes.

Q: Is it necessary to subscribe to COD IW Magazine drop sound?

A: No, but reloading sounds are much better with it. If you choose not to use this mod you will hear louder hollow sound (default game sound of dropping weapon) each time you reload and your magazine falls on the ground.

Q: Some weapons has original and ballistic versions, but they look the same. What is the difference?

A: Original version shoots with lasers, ballistic version shoots with bullets.

Q: I don't like some weapon sounds, what should I do?

A: You can remove or replace firing sounds only. Follow This guide and remove any firing sounds you don't like. Do NOT replace any sounds except the ones from "gunfire" folder and do NOT subscribe to other sound replacing mods. Some of my weapons have custom added reloading sounds, if you remove them or subscribe to other sound replacing mods you will face some audio issues.

Q: Some weapons fire modes are differ from COD IW fire modes. Why?

A: COD IW weapons has a lot of different fire modes, we are talking about 2, 3 or even 6 round burst modes for smgs, rifles, shotguns and even sniper rifles, that is impossible to implement in L4D2 game.

Q: The distance my character is holding weapon in first person mode is different from what I see on your screenshots or videos. Why?

A: I am using "cl_viewmodelfovsurvivor" parameter set to 65, you can play around with it to set the best weapon position.

Q: Suddenly weapon animations broke, gun stutters or stuck in weird position, ammo count jumps fast from one number to another when I reload. WTF?

A: You are connecting to a server that are enforcing consistency while having HUD Icon enabled. Disable HUD icons before you play online or on servers that are not enforcing consistency.

Q: What map was used for preview videos and screenshots?

A: An enhanced version of the White Prison by The Mark. Use the original one, mine is for testing purposes to fit COD IW style, unauthorized entry is prohibited. Status: unplayable.

Q: I found a serious bug, what should I do?

A: Leave bug report in the comments section down below or on the mod page. Be very specific and try to give as much as possible information about an issue you've found.

yeah this is dead, you might aswell go somewhere else because these mods are not coming back alive it seems

Its been a few years since you havent posted new mods for L4D2. Since the Last Stand Update is coming, I wanna ask a some questions before the update arrives.

1. Have you been planning new mods for L4D2 ever since after the last mod you created since 2018?
2. Any plans to update some mods incase the Last Stand Update may break them?
3. Where have you been since 2018?

Your mods are awesome!!!!! But most guns don't have muzzle light ( the light of illuminating darkness ) This light is important for dark maps , so are there any solutions to solve this problem?

Not sure if this had been asked before, but may I ask whether it is ok to use some of your firearm animations for a few compiles of mine? Of course full credits will be provided in the descriptions.
