Description
The 'enhanced' civilisation of Japan - Rise and Fall and Gathering Storm Compatible.


Adds many buildings, improvements & bonuses to Japan. Plus 50 unique units. A complete build roster for each Era.

This is not a balanced Civ, it is for 'Sandbox' style playing... for builders.

Leader Abilities:
Luxury Resources provide an amenity to 2 extra tiles. Military units receive +1 combat strength for each different luxury resource improved in your lands.
Worship building is cheaper and provides additional faith, science, and culture.
Units receive +5 combat strength when attacking wounded units, and heal 30 hp when they eliminate a unit.
Units receive +5 combat strength on the home continent, +1 appeal to tiles with a national park.
Can use builder charges to complete 15% of the original wonder cost. Builders have an additional charge.
All cities start with a free building in the city center.
Increased holy site adjacency bonus.
Holy Sites provide +2 good and +1 housing if placed next to a river, holy sites provide a culture bomb.
Naval Units can be purchased with faith, religious units pay no embarkment costs, +2 faith to city centers adjacent to a coast.
Units on the coast receive +5 combat strength, naval units receive +5 combat strength in shallow water. Build holy sites, theater squares and encampments in half the usual time.


Civilisation Abilities:
Minor adjacency for coastal tiles for holy site, campus, industrial zone, and theater square.
Increase food yield when farms are next to aqueducts, and aqueducts provide a bonuses to faith and amenities.
Roads are 1 level more advanced than usual.
Extra territory when you found cities, +1 faith and production on tundra tiles.
Districts receive standard adjacency bonus for being next to other districts.
Builder charges can be spent to complete 20% of districts original build cost.
+3 housing on coastal cities, pastures trigger culture bombs, fields from campuses, commercial hubs, holy sites, and theater squares are +1 in tiles with charming appeal and +3 in breathtaking tiles.
Units gain the ability to enter ocean tiles after researching shipbuilding. Units ignore additional movement costs from embarking and disembarking.
+15% production towards districts and wonders placed next to a river. Can build wonders and districts on floodplains.
each city can build 1 more district than the population limit allows.
Government legacy bonuses are earned in half the usual time.
Receive a tribal village reward when you clear a barbarian outpost.
Rainforest Tiles provide +1 adjacency to campus,es, commercial hubs, holy sits, and theater squares. Rainforest tiles produce +1 housing from neighborhoods build adjacent to them.
Cities within trade route range to the capital start with a road leading there.


Units:
50 unique Japanese units, from zeppelins to war-dogs, torpedo boats to panzers.

Rise and Fall and Gathering Storm DLC Compatible.

**You will want to increase your usual difficulty level by two to enjoy this mod as the mod is designed for 'builders and 'sand box' play. Disable all victory modes bar Domination**


Has 'Yet not Another Maps Pack' (YnAMP) True Start Locations.

'Wonder Tweaks' is a recommendation, not mandatory. But the game plays better with it.

Yes & No... I haven't even had Civ6 installed for over year so have not kept up with this leader folly. It gives some benefits to the nation of Japan, so you will get those... but some benefits are just for the original leader, so you will miss those.

i take it that means no to old school rise and fall? or no to creating stats and working on how well your troops are trained? maybe work on what your shrines etc will look like? architecture is a big part of culture.... lol maybe ill luck out and the programmers will see this comment

ok gonna have to check how to look at that lol i have a few ideas id love to work with someone on. i have no idea how to do mods myself including civ4 rise and fall for civ6 would be killer as well as being able to design certain units as you develop them. like the difference between tanks the sherman vs the panther so to speak. like each time you have a new unit you can work with stat points and design for your own specs, know what i mean?

There are German ones that got banned by STEAM because of a completely bogus news article. You will need to search Deutschland on ModDB.

Just turn the units trait from a leader trait to a Japan trait… should be a couple of lines…
