[WoTC] Pathfinder Items

Description
This mod adds new items for Xcom, a new ammo type, a new vest, a new proximity mine and 2 new items that provide buffs to the soldier using them.

WHAT IS IN THIS MOD:

  • Proximity Stun Mine.
  • Terror Rounds.
  • Ultralight Vest.
  • Smart Scanner and Smart Scanner Mk2.

INFO:

Proximity Stun Mine

Proximity Stun Mines stun enemies and friends caught in the blast, deals no damage.

Terror Rounds

Terror Rounds cause panic on targets hit by them, unless they are immune to panic. They also confer +1 damage.

Ultralight Vest

Ultralight Vests provide +3 mobility to any soldier wearing them.

Smart Scanner

The smart scanner is an item that when equiped grants the soldier a "Smart Scan" ability, this ability grants the soldier a sight radius bonus, flanking crit chance bonus and flanking aim bonus.

Smart Scanner Mk2

Functionally similar to the Smart Scanner, this upgraded variant confers superior bonuses and in addition also confers a mobility bonus when used.

How to obtain them:

  • Proximity Stun Mine
    Requires Andromedon, Stun Lancer and Shieldbearer Autopsies.
  • Terror Rounds
    Requires Gatekeeper and Andromedon Autopsies.
  • Ultralight Vest
    Requires Stun Lancer and Viper Autopsies.
  • Smart Scanner
    Requires Advent Mec Autopsy.
  • Smart Scanner Mk2
    Requires Sectopod and Turret Autopsies.

KNOWN ISSUES:

None at the moment.

COMPATIBILITY:

Usually i say "it should be compatible with everything", but then it turns out it isn't, so if you find any compatibility issues let me know.

TO DO LIST:

This is part 2 of like 5, if you played with my ADVENT Pathfinder mod in vanilla then you should know that there is a lot left to do, if you haven't then check that mod out to see what's coming.

FAQ:

Changes from the vanilla version?

The only notable change is that in this version of the mod you acquire the items by researching autopsies from vanilla enemies instead of the Advent Pathfinders, additionally none of the items require corpses to build.

You are free to use anything and everything in this mod for your own mods and/or purposes, in fact not only are you allowed, i encourage you to do it.

I think i've said this before, but these have been very useful (and cool to use). I once got ambushed by 4 Custodians and these mines practically saved my life.

I guess if you have Pathfinder mod you don't need this mod? I do have my Panick ammo in inventory. That thing is really OP.

I believe I discovered the reason for my previous issue I posted. Somehow the game is spawning the exalted pathfinders already and they only dropped the exalted scanners so I never got enough scanners to build the mk 1. Anyway to spawn them or add it with add item cheat?

For some reason I never got the option for MK1 Scanner, I started right out at MK 2 Scanner as a craftable option(maybe because I added the mod mid game) is there a way to get the MK1 Scanner to show up after I learn the MK Scanner?

I've loved the advent pathfinder mod, a deadly unit that relies on super heavy armor was such a gr8 idea, made for some very intense moments.

I know that it's probably going to seem like a silly question, but would the cosmetics possibly include more Skirmisher Pathfinder Gear to go along with the awesome helmet you did?
