(Defunct) Krell as an Agent (SFO)

Description
No longer works. Do not sub!

----

Use Krell as an agent as the primary vampire factions!

When you start a game as either Vampire Counts, Von Carsteins or Mousillon, you'll start the game
with Krell near your capital. Fully functional unit cards and descriptions. Stats balanced for SFO.

Krell also has a custom skill tree that is based on Wight King, but more tailored for him.
He also has access to unique weapon and armour.

NOTE! You'll need Crynsos' Faction Unlocker+ to play as Mousillon!

As the mod uses the Bretonnian Green Knight method of spawning a unique hero, the Green Knight
icon is shown on the UI. It is safe to ignore and does not harm your game.

Credits:

Special thanks to Marthenil, Crynsos and Cataph for the info how to make custom unit cards work.
Super special thanks to Mixu for knowing how to spawn unique units with LUA.

Compatibility:

Anything that edits wh_campaign_scripted_building_effects.lua is incompatible. Since the AI does not have access to Krell, you should only activate this mod when you want to use him yourself anyways.

Further info:

NOTE2! There are no plans for making non-sfo variant of this mod or to allow Krell for other Vampire factions! You can use my mod as a base if you wish to do so as long as you credit me.

I'm also burned out from modding, same as you, the 10 mods I released on the Nexus need updating, and I have plenty of work left to do on my other mods. But, all in good time.
Do what you do man, but only if it feels right, don't turn it into a second job lol
I would like to learn more about modding TW2, unlike Skyrim, one mod can need a lifetimes attention, due to CVA updates etc. So I tip my cap to you!

And guys, please be nice to modders, we all have a story, we all thrive off others enjoyment of our work, and we all just want to give something back to a community that inspired us, brought us joy, and helped us heal :) <3

After losing all my work I wanted to give up, so badly, but I had to finish, after all I went through. So far, since then, I spent all day and night making new mods, sometimes for 2 days straight! I might have lost the single massive project I was working on (25sq mile "new land"mod) But I have made around 20 smaller ones, and yup, 4 new lands, although most are small compared, and mostly for player homes, bar the one huge land.

I'm also burned out from modding, same as you, the 10 mods I released on the Nexus need updating, and I have plenty of work left to do on my other mods. But, all in good time.

Back on 2015 I had just moved to a new country, became seriously ill within months of being there, and never had time to make good friends, so I found myself alone. I used to write music but had to clean install Windows, and lost all my work, I could feel a low point coming on, and had to act. I decided I would take up gaming again, discovered mods for Skyrim, I was so thankful for mods, and even the fact they broke my game lol It gave me something to focus on. really enjoyed the modding community, as I could never leave the house. S I wanted to give something back.

Thanks, man. So rare to see some human decency on Steam these days. I don't play games that much these days, unfortunately. Working at a game retailer, modding and then in game industry kinda ruined a good hobby. I still make mini-mods for my own enjoyment now and then, but that's about it when it comes to this field.

Also, thank you for your contributions for Skyrim. That game wouldn't have been nearly as re-playable if only sticking to vanilla. Got many hours of extra entertainment out of that game thanks to people like you.

@Erde .. So sorry to hear that! I lost 5 years modding work for Skyrim, I was spending 8-12 hours a day working on them. Lost it all, and started over. I know how that feels. I hope you are playing games for a change, and you feel better about making new mods. Take care dude.

If you have no intention of returning, just take the mod down, there are hundreds of defunct mods on the workshop, Finding them liking them, reading them and then finding out they are defunct is a pain. I used your mod, i liked your mod and would use it again if updated, but i would also like to see the mod station cleared up of dead mods. There are something like 6,000 mods now and i would say maybe 20% are inactive, and 10% like yours dead for years. I'm not attacking you in anyway just suggesting if you have no intention or will to fix the mod then simply remove it. It would also prevent attacks from people like the clown whining about krells lore friendly black Axe lol...who cares. Anyway here's hoping you preferably fix it or remove it and lessen dead mods by one. Cheers.

I haven't played the game in any meaningful way in years ever since I lost all of my data on my hard drive and all the progress with a major mod I was making and I don't really feel like returning considering I have no idea how extensive the required scripting work might be to update this mod sorry to say. :(

Ah yes, because that is exactly what the function is for.

just report the mod if its remained 18 months now without an update, reports will have it taken down.
