Services & Helipads

Description
Merged Helicopter Depots and Services with Helipads to include all vehicles!

Why did I do this? For those that have Natural Disasters and use helicopters for services. CS created a helipad marker for editors to add to their buildings some time ago. Much like adding blue markers for assets without designed parking spaces; the helicopter marker is meant to designate where a helicopter should land. If one is not placed, then by default (as many of you noticed) the helicopters will land front centre at the base of the building. This is completely unrealistic... especially when there are helipads standing idle. Confused why CS never fixed that in the latest update.

Mods to ensure placement of these buildings instead of the vanilla:
- No Mods Required
- However after last update... Service Vehicle Selector and Sub-Buildings Tab to view content details and select vehicles at will are now encouraged and recommended.

Switching out Vanilla Assets for these ones:
- Added H for Heli to help identify in manager and in respective services tab in-game.
- You cannot disable Vanilla Services from the Content Manager so you are stuck with both. Sorry.

Contrary to the tag, this pack includes 2 Hospitals, and 1 Police Station.
They are the only services which have visible helipads in-game to my knowledge.

That panel @StromBust are details from the Asset Editor that carry over in-game. Clicking on the asset will provide summary details of the "Property Panel" in a different window during gameplay. If you want to mess with the details yourself, you will need to open the file in the Asset Editor to fiddle with the properties to meet your liking.

how to do you open the property panel?

Thanks for the update @Termite. Thanks for using these assets.

These are great. You can now disable the Vanilla ones using 'Loading Screen' mod.

Right @fox171171 but while these had them they weren't functional to land on helipads for pickup and drop-off by default.

"Disaster Response Unit" also has a functioning helipad.

They land and take off there to refuel @Aturchomicz but during day-to-day operations so-to-speak they would land in the hospital building to pick up and drop off patients at ground floor last I check. This seems to be an unavoidable error.

In my game they do land on the heli pads

Hey @Raven_2012 so the clinic is not included in this collection. As it did not have a designed helipad built as part of the model I didn't touch it. If this frustrates you, I recommend you open as a new asset it in the editor, add the helipad marker and resave. These each have a sub-building inside, whereby the main building is the helicopter depot and the 1x3 building inside is the actual police/medical station. From time to time you will see a helicopter take off from the roof and land on the ground to pic up cims and transport them. It does not happen too often however.

Is this for modders or players? I am looking for something that stops medical helicopters from landing in front of clinics.
