Tigris LIPT

The Tigris is a light transport ship, designed to support expeditions to unexplored planets and moons.
The ship is therefore equiped with a jumpdrive and the main thrusters are mounted on rotors, this way you can use the same set of thrusters for both planetary and space flight.

The main role for this ship is cargo transport so its weaponry is quite lacking. Nevertheless, there is still a small grid rotor turret mounted on the top for self defense.

Due to the small size of the ship I wasn't able to make an airlock for the bridge; it is therefore necessary that the bridge remains closed during space flight. This shouldn't be a problem as long as your crew remains in their cryo rooms.

A large part of the ship is taken by the hangar area, this space is large enough to fit most small grid ground vehicles (my Sinai ATV can fit inside if the laser antenna is removed)
