it looks awesome. but the equip time, and the reload time kinda put a damper on the game.

Just made a script for this beauty. Would be a shame a machine gun still uses assault rifle's stats.

This mod is something I've been wanting for awhile. I hate using the actual m60 in game but I love the gun Itself plus the m16 my favorite gun too so all around this mod is great

I don't see the reason to continue arguing about the reload time, we could go all day at this rate and the comment feed will be filled with just us fighting for who's right and find fault. Caddis and i supports the author but had different view, its getting really stupid just to argue all about just one word 'reload' and insult each other simultaneously. At the end of the day its the decision of the author to fix it, ours is to give constructive feedback; not making a fool of ourselves.

Also about the variants, why not experiment with damage in the scripts? There is already an AWP mod in this workshop which deals a tonne of damage than vanilla which well demonstrate the possibility of custom weapon. Who knows what might become of future l4d2 workshop content, slow reload but high damage M60E4? I don't see why the hell not do something for a change.

why make a reload time longer than the default if it rarely if ever get used to it full time in online games :/. some of us dont mind the sleight of hand. if you look at the comments on gun mods like these you'll see a few people not liking the reload times. why not make to variants, one with an one without sleight of hand. you work is good, dont get me rong, i didnt say your mod is bad, im just asking for a fix or an alternative. tiger witch just wants to polish your butt hole.

No, I'm not going to "fix" the reload time, the only way of changing that is to speed up the actual frames per second and if I speed it up to match the default m16 it will look like sleight of hand on crack. I like to take advantage of this build of source not cutting out animations if they extend the default. So no, I'm not "fixing" it.

How rude. Rex, just take your time and do what you did best. It must be a tonne of work just to fix the reload scripts, animation and sound.
