Homeworld Remastered Players Patch

Description
The Homeworld Remastered Players Patch resolves many bugs, exploits, and balance issues. It works with Gearbox's 2.1/2.303 Patches, and includes hundreds of additional improvements. It enhances singleplayer and multiplayer while respecting the look, sound, and feel of Relic's classics. Notably it fixes the 666 Formation Bug, the Cross Race Docking Bug, and is authored by the players who helped Gearbox balance Homeworld Remastered. It also features additional gameplay options including a campaign difficulty adjuster, user interface/camera adjusters, dual command mode, observer mode, vast unit caps, and much more.

This is being released by the community for the players and fans. Credits: Gearbox, Cloaked, Fear, Trebic, NoOne, Echo, Stuart, QuadS, Kadeshi, and all the other contributors, testers, and players providing feedback. Steam Instructions:
1. Click Subscribe
2. Play Homeworld Remastered
3. In the launcher, click Mods, select the 2.3 Players Patch, (optionally select a Campaign checkbox), and click Launch
4. You can play any skirmish/mission from the start based on your current progression, but don't load game saves from other versions/builds of the game. If you're having issues, see the Troubleshooting thread.

Does anyone know why pathfinding ran into errors in the base game.
Does it have to do with state machines and balancing priorities?
or is it mathmatical functions being used to calculate distance that had errors in them?

I read through the readme since I am doing modding, but just to clarify here, if I mod any files that this 2.3 Players patch also affects, I need to combine them into a single mod to prevent interference?

Does this patch fix the problem with HW1 assault frigates not functioning like they're supposed to (with mounted turrets that can turn independently)?

@Red Fox - Its unfortunate so many bugs/issues were not officially patched by Gearbox.

@COLT - Each race has their strengths and weaknesses, we have not added weapons to ships.

@咕咕咕 - It appears those mods have file conflicts and do not work with the patch.

It's honestly shameful that this had to be the way to fix the game while Gearbox gradually forgot about it and ignored all the complaints about how they f***ed up.

Sadly with the mod active, and *only* this mod (which is the only mod I use), I get an access violation if I start a campaign or skirmish.

hi, i noticed that there are point defense turrets on vagar destroyers and battle cruisers, i think it will be suitable to add point defense turrets to Hiigara ships, but im wondering why u guys dont add them

After more test here's the result:
1.setup everything like your troubleshooting thread with only this mod every thing is ok.
2.if using this mods with any language pack(e.g. chinese language pack) still crash when loading M8.
3.if using this mods and 'Capture All Mod', also will crash when loading M8.
