@wiseamphora - They were sewn on before flipped right side out, I sew them on before I sew the main parts together otherwise it is a pain.

Minky's a hard fabric to work with. It's messy and it slips a lot when you want symmetrical cuts. You've done well with this.

Are the darker bits sown on direct to the body or did you do this before flipping the plush inside out?
