yeah, i saw that's an option on configurable mod that is on the description, i just don't like that mod because there's too many options to change x_x

i got videos of what happens to the spawn pods with this mod enabled, as soon as you spawn you come in so fast you smash into the ground, if you want to see the videos i can send them to you but you can check it yourself

sadly i can't change the parachute opening on those spawn pods and the unknown signals, it think it's something that needs to be changed in the mod

Oh yes this is another approach ! Yes it can the main cause.
Sadly no way to regulate or limit those little ships max speed.
A workaround is to set up the parachute opening higher than the current altitude...

yeah, the problem i think is that they come too fast and don't have time to slow down with the parachute, i have seen them crash in front of me, had the mod disabled for sometime and started happening when i enabled it

I think those "unknown signals" are using parachute to slow down the fall... and if I'm not wrong, the parachute will despawn when the "unknown signal" is reaching the ground on planet, so this "max speed" setting doesn't have effect on it as long as it's already on the ground. My thought... ;)

If you want to be sure, you can try to disable this addon to come back to the official setting to test it ;)

i have noticed a lot of the unknown signals that spawn while in planets just crash and maybe 2 of every 5 of them survive the fall, any way to fix it?
