Description
201x201 Block Concrete platform
Class 15

Made because even the supersize platform is too small for some things.

80,800 stone dust, or 40,400 Concrete blocks + a core

402x402x2 meters

from what I've read, max size is 125 blocks from the core in each direction - so this could technically be extended another 24 blocks. The core is in the middle.

Each darker colored square is 9x9 blocks.

This is a rather massive investment to spawn a CV - if your server even allows it's class size. Feel free to do whatever you want with it.



update 1: found a couple sections with too many rows, and a couple with too few, fixed. It's now square (i hope). Had to count each row, left the numbers painted on. thankfully selection box tools make it easy to add or remove strips of blocks from the middle.

(sorry if the pictures are too dark, had a hard time getting a decent pic, since it's so big)

Did. And 2 of them pressurized... the hundreds of o2 tanks are what caused the lag!

hey Leaf; when you do make this shipyard, i would recommend building different size drydocks for different size ships. frigates, small craft, freighters, battleships, cruisers, battlecruisers, science vessels, escort vessels, carriers, destroyers, dreadnoughts, superdreadnoughts, long range science vessels, and more to mention.

if you are really in need of a gigantic shipyard, i do have one partially made. It was deleted from a server for causing lag so I didn't finish it. Can easily fit the largest ships though.

Heh I bet with a little editing I can make this into a repair platform for Super Capital vessels like the SEA Duckverine! I mean that thing may be a heck of a warship but it will eventualy need repairs if you go POI hunting big time. Just what I needed for my singleplayer experience. Plus it has room for other ships as well with its size from what I am reading.

i think that's to actually make the construction of big ticket ships, like an Imperial destroyer off of Star Wars or an intrepid class long range science vessel from Star Trek, in space.

Found the problem. You can only spawn about 180x180 max on a planet. Can spawn any size base in space.

i spawned this thing, and found out the true gargantuan size of this pad. it only took me 2 seconds to realize that this will never be a drydock, not with this unreal size. i need to go smaller!

I can still spawn it in space - but not on a planet. SI doesn't seem to be an issued, this and one of my 200x200 just won't spawn on a planet for some reason.

all this would really need is some decorations, and it can become the perfect DryDock for any ships i decide to build later on, and the ship i absolutely cannot go without. now i also have a reason to keep all of that rock and stone from the planets i dig up, but never needed.
