The Emperor Class Mobile Base is a testament to the expansionist will of the Akhinnae Empire. The five ships of this class are designed to take posession to a planet - as fast as possible. They function as base of operations and transport vehicle for three dropships - each designed to a specific task. two Emperor class ships will be able to establish a permanent presence on a planet within weeks - a settlement within months and a colony within a year.

The Curious class dropship is designed to scout ahead and to find suitable resources and locations for establishing a base of operations on the surface - the Swift class shuttle will then carry personnel and supplies back and forth between the orbital base and the surface, while the Vigorous Class lifter will transport a mobile factory to the surface and then assist with building up installations.
