2012 NYPD Ford Escape

A light SUV used for patrol and incident responding, the NYPD uses this (and newer Escapes) in it's daily patrols. These light SUVs are cheaper and more affordable than the heavy duty Explorer, and comes in hybrid versions as well.

All NYPD vehicles carry no flares. Lights DO flash during emergency responses, as explained in the second photo. However, the in game flares do not work well with rotating lights, so I buried the flares deep into the ground. This is NOT a bug.

Use Service Vehicle Selector or Service Vehicle Manager (my preferred utility) to set police/prison vehicles types for your stations/prisons.

Use Invisible Spawn Points to fine tune your spawning and create more realistic depots!

Stats are same as the default police car. Use Advanced Vehicle Options Mod to change it to fit your needs.

Prop

Lightbar derived from False Lucidity's 1980 Police Car. However, texture was done by meticulously stitching together images to lend realism to the non translucent lightbar. Vehicle base derived from my Red Cross Escape. NYPD Textures based from real life photos.
